tender for repairs and maintenance to certain roads, road furnitures, kerb stones at 613 unit of age br- ii under ge golconda; 1 m&l repair to potholes of any depth, not exc. 1 sqm each and including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings,6.3 mmsizeand again well rammed using power roller of capacity exceeding 8 tonne but not exceeding 12 tonne (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes n. exc. 30 mm complete all as specified and directed. 2 m&l 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) wbm with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required and including preparation of unsurfaced wbm surface and applying evenly a priming /tack coat with bituminious primer @ 10 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen vg-30 grade and scarifyng or picking gravel macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exc. 400 sqm and depth exc. 50 mm and not exc. 100 mm complete all as specified and directed. 3 m&l bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content using paving bitumen of grade vg-30 penetration by weight of total mix laid using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient and includingpreparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bag to remove loose dirt and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bitumen primer at 5 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen over existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed. 4 note: for design purpose min. binder content is specified as 5.5 %for vg-30 grade bitumen and it shall not reduce under any circumstances. during design stage, if binder content exceeds 5.5 % no extra payment shall be made to contractor for excess use of binder. 5 m&l premix bituminous macadam of paving bitumen with binder content of 4 % by weight of total mix, any penetration laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) complete all as specified and directed. 6 m&l moorum/ red bajri filling in berm or pavings, laid in layers n. exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed and including watering complete all as specified and directed 7 m&l providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of m-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) and including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), making necessary drainage opening wherever required and including demolition complete all as specified and directed. 8 s&f road studs (cat eye) two way reflective of size 100 x 100 x 25 mm(min size) and max size according to manufacturer made with abs material, scratch and abrasion resistant, micro plastic, temperature resistant body on bituminous / concrete surfaces as per manufacturers instructions and including taking down complete all as specified and directed. 9 m&l thermoplastic road marking paint (white and yellow), average 2.50 mm thick in centre line / edge line / zebra crossings etc, and including providing drop on glass beads @ 0.25 kg / sqm as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and directed.
