tender for repair to certain roads including road furniture at kalimpong mil stn under ge 867 ews-- 1 m&l for repairs to pot holes of depth exceeding 30 mm thick, area not exc 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads , paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, and making good by applying tack coat with paving bitumen grade 10 pack primer (vg-10) @ 5kg per 10 sqm putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder with paving bitumen grade 30 pack (vg-30) @9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm, complete all as specified and directed. 2 m&l for preparing existing black top road surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bitumen primer using paving bitumen grade 10 pack (vg-10) @ 5kg per 10 sqm, complete all as specified and directed. 3 m&l for premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade 30 pack (vg-30) @ 4% by weight of total mix laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to12 tonne power road roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), complete all as specified and as directed. 4 m&l for 40 mm thick consolidated thickness bituminous premixed carpet with 0.54 cu.m per 10 sqm of stone chipping and mixed with 29.20 kg per 10 sqm of binder using paving bitumen grade 30 pack (vg-30) laid and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete all as specified and directed.
