tender for repair to roads and road furniture at mil stn charmagad and mil stn dharchula under ge pithoragarh.; 1 m&l forrepair to potholes not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming ( including supply of road metal ) , making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet ( 2 cm thick ) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat ( 9.8 kg of binder with 0.09 cu m of sand ) , again well rammed ( including supply ofpremix binder and sand ) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed. 2 m&l for premix bituminous, macadam with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen vg-10 grade, laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber ( consolidated thickness 75mm or less ) complete all as specified and directed. note : ( i ) design mix for bituminous macadam shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate. ( ii ) aggregates for bituminous works shall confirm to clause no 20.b.2.5of ssr 2009 part- i ( specifications ) . ( iii ) based on job mix formula, in case the binder content ( i.e. bitumen ) is less than the content specified under these items then a minus adjustment @ rs 70 / - per kg of bitumen ( less consumed ) shall be applied on the quoted rate of contractor against these items, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. however, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula. ( iv ) premixed bituminous macadam shall be mixed in mechanical mixol at work site and laid / spread manually to uniform and smooth surface. 3 m&l for preparing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer paving bitumen with viscosity grade ( vg-10 ) at 5 kg per 10 sqm and m&l for bituminous premixed carpet, 30 mm consolidated thickness, with 0.41 cum of stone chippings mixed with 21.90 kg of binder vg-10, laid and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient and sealed with premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand ( as per 4.4.7.2 grading zone-i, table 2 of ssr part-i 2009 ) mixed with 6.8 kg of bitumen, vg-30 applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.note:- bituminous premixed carpet shall be mixed in mechanical mixol at work site and laid / spread manually to uniform and smooth surface. 4 m&lfor preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to bs 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed. 5 demolition of cement concrete ( unreinforced ) in ground floors and pavings not exc 15cm thickness ( below or above groundlevel ) complete all as specified and directed. 6 removing building materials etc. ( other than spoil payable under items 03028 to 03031 in section-3—earthwork ) to a distance of 100m or under, beyond the lead included in the rates, including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination complete all as specified and directed. 7 m&l for cement concrete work in pavement / hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg / per square centimetre in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less complete all as specified and directed. 8 finishing surface of concrete roads, pavements, by brooming complete all as specified and directed. 9 m&l for forming construction joint 30mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound with grade a complete all as specified and directed.
