[ scope of work , as specified in note no . 01 of special condition of contract is also included in this activity . ] the required materials shall be transported from store / site . new pipes , fitting , special fittings etc . shall be fabricated with ss 316 l / hv9 material . the required mitre bends / mitre fittings shall also be fabricated to suit the site conditions in hv9 / ss 316l material . elbows and tees shall be fabricated in addition with the available ss 316l / hv9 pipes . the ss 316 l / hv9 pipes shall be cut by plasma cutting machine , in to 2 m or nearest length as per instructions to avoid wastage . pipe ends shall be ground properly and take suitable bevel / single vee . the pipes / fittings / mitres shall be fabricated by tig welding only with stub ends , m . s . slip on flanges . pipes shall be in pieces or in full pipe length ( 5 . 7 to 6m ) as per instructions from engineer in charge . , erection of fabricated ss 316 l / hv9 pipe and fittings of sizes 50 nb to 350 nb . [ scope of work , as specified in note no . 01 of special condition of contract is also included in this activity . ] the newly fabricated ss 316 l / hv9 pipe lines with fittings shall be transported to site , at various elevations . the ss 316 l / hv9 pipes with fittings shall be erected / fixed in position with proper gaskets and fasteners . flange joints shall be tightened properly to avoid any leakage . , fabrication of stub end rings from ss 316l / hv9 plates , size 50nb to 350 nb . the required stub end rings [ size 50 nb to 350 nb ] shall be marked and cut from ss 316l / hv9 plates [ 8 to 12mm thick for ss316l and 5mm / 8mm thick for hv9 ] by using plasma cutting machine . the rings shall be transported to fact cd work shop for final machining and back to site . ring edges shall be ground properly and take suitable bevel / single vee . 12 / 10 mm scrap ss 316l plates shall be made use for cutting stub ends . transportation of these plates from np backyard is under contractors scope . , dismantling of old rubber lined pipes size 50 nb to 350 nb . the existing rubber lined pipes and fittings , at various elevations / pipe bridges shall be dismantled / removed as per the instructions of engineer-in -charge . the usable pipes shall be transported / stacked at specific location and scrap to scrap yard .
