repair and painting of bafh stores at ge engr park bathinda -repair and painting of bafh stores is as under:- n ( a ) girder ramp assy ( qty 31 nos repairable ) - qty 71 ( b ) . main girder assy ( qty 89 x repairable ) - qty 295 nspecification of works. ( ser no ( a ) n1. removing the above mentioned stores from the existing stock to the required site of work ( approx 20 to 25 mtrs distance ) . n2. cleaing / dusting with steel wire brush, emery paper, scrapper and cotton waste etc. n3. removing old grease with kerosene oil from main girder, and ramp girder. cleaning / dusting with wire brush, cotton waste ete before starting the painting & greasing. n4. apply non skid surfacing powder ( corborundum or quartz sand granulation 0.5mm to 1mm ) make : eagle / equivalent ) manually with lotion of araldite softener and hardener i.e. 100:80 ratio respectievely . hand roller should be used to fix the non skid powder. remaining area of said ser no items to be painted with aluminium paint. n5. painting manually with painting brushes with two coats of aluminum paint except non skid area. n 6. all repairable items to be reapaired properly. necessary welding work to be carried out by the supplier. spare parts for maint to be provided by department. n7. all material and cleaning material will be supplied by the contractor for maint. n8. re-stacking the stores after completion of work on proper dunnage as directed by sk / age / ge. n9. removal of all waste material, debris etc and cleaning of work site before closing the work. n
