( iii ) , manning and operation of ht/ lt switch gear and dg set installed at sfa nandanam substation completely in two shifts of 08 hours each including sundays and holidays by employing 01 electrician in each shift ( total 02 electricians per day ) for entire system comprising of switching on/ off the ht/ lt breakers , to attend the telephone complaint including routine maintenance such as checks , finding faults and maintaining all records and documents , complete all as specified and directed for the following:- 100 kva transformer - 02 nos63 kva dg set - 01 no vcb - 03 noslt panel - 02 nos shift timings shall be as under:-1st shift: 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs2nd shift: 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs total- 02 electricians . . . . . . . . . . . . ( iv ) total electricians per day against above four locations=11 no . , electrician ( skilled ) per person as per existing rates . , employees provident fund as per existing rates , employees state insurance as per existing rates , over head & profit on total of srl no . 5 . 00 to 7 . 00 , labour welfare cess ( lwc ) on total of srl no . 5 . 00 to 8 . 00 , gst as per existing rates on total of srl no . 5 . 00 to 9 . 00 , notes applicable to boq srl item no 1 to 4:- ( a ) the person employed shall be responsible for attending break downs and complaint of substation , replacement of ht/ lt fuses and to liaise with tneb to restore electric supply in case of failure from tneb . ( b ) the person employed shall also be responsible repairs to lt cables including binding and jointing to restore electric supply , repair/ replacement of service wire and any other minor work for restoring the electrical supply as directed . ( c ) general cleanliness and upkeeping existing plants and vegetation within the premises of the plant by deploying additional manpower with t&p if required at any time and all as directed by engineer-in-charge . ( d ) contractor shall made payment through authorised bank and photocopy of receipt of payment shall be attached with rar/fb . ( e ) duty roster will be submitted by the contractor before commencement of the month for obtaining the approval of je and engineer-in-charge . any change the duty roster will be made by the contractor , only after approval of engineer-in-charge . ( f ) contractor shall monitor the duties of all electricians ands submit report to concerned engr-in-charge/ je e/m regarding availability of manpower and also monitor for watch and guard of installation . any loss of damage to the plant equipment installed and govt . property in the e/m installation premises shall be made good by the contractor . rates quoted by the contractor are deemed to include for this clause . ( g ) contractor should arrange proper uniform with name plate displayed in shirt for the mechanics and its cost shall be deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate . ( h ) contractor shall be responsible to monitor the duties of electricians during change of shift and submit the report to engineer-in-cjharge/ je e/m and quoted rtes shall be deemed to include for the same . , notes applicable to boq srl item no 1 to 4 ( contd . . . ) :- ( j ) the rates quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of the documents such as log books of the plants , plant running record book and plant maintenance record book . the rates quoted shall be inclusive of tools required for running and maintenance of plants . ( k ) contractor to check particular specifications also for further details . ( l ) for the purpose of pament of minimum fair wages , electrician shall be considered as skilled worker . ( m ) the rate quoted shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by govt of india/ state govt/ local body whichever is higher including all statutory provisions such as epf , esic , bonus , taxes etc and rate of gst as applicable on the last due date of bid submission . ( n ) in such case , the lowest tender shall be determined by the lowest amount amongst valid/ bonafide bids only . ( o ) bid with nil or zero quoting against oh & profit shall render the bid as non-bonafide ( p ) contractor is required to quote upto two digit after decimal place or otherwise it will be considered by rounding off to two digits after decimal place . ( q ) in case of tie amongst bidders , following criteria shall be applied to decide the lowest bidder for acceptance:- ( aa ) when tie is amongst mes enlisted firms , order of acceptance shall be as given below:- ( i ) bidder of highest class will be considered for acceptance . ( bb ) in mes in case of tie between two or more same class bidder .
