outsourcing and services of manning and operation of electrical and water supply installations at icgs mandapam cgra and south mandapam at age b/r mandapam under ge ( i ) ( cg ) chennai , manning , operation and maintenance of diesel generating set 15 kva at pump house and 02 nos of 7 . 5 hp pumpset installed at pump house at cgra mandapam including attending ht/lt fuse calls in married accommodation of coast guard mandapam and ensure uninterrupted electric supply and operating chlorine pumps attending water supply minor complaints and providing uninterrpted water supply in three shifts of 8 hours including sundays and holidays by employing man power as given below for the entire system including attending telephonic complaints , maintain necessary records and documents complete all as specified and as directed . note: 02 nos of skilled operators ( electrician ) and 01 no of unskilled helper ( wireman/valve man ) shall be deployed per day in the following shifts:-shift timings shift i 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs , shift ii 1400 hrs to 2200 hrsshift iii 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs , ( a ) skilled operator ( electrician ) , ( b ) unskilled helper ( wireman helper/valve man ) , note for item no 1 ( a ) &1 ( b ) :- ( i ) the unit each shift shall means one operator engaged per shift . , manning , operation and maintenance of diesel generating set 40 kva installed at south mandapam and 02 nos 03 hp pumpsets with one panel board at south mandapam pump house including attending lt fuse calls in hover port area and ensure uninterrupted electric supply and water supply in three shifts of 8 hours including sundays and holidays by employing man power as given below for the entire system including attending telephonic complaints , maintain necessary records and documents complete all as specified and as directed . note :02 nos of skilled operators ( electrician ) and 01 no of unskilled helper ( wireman/valve man ) shall be deployed per day in the following shifts:-shift timings shift i 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs: shift ii 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs:shift iii 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs , ( a ) skilled operator ( electrician ) , ( b ) unskilled helper ( wireman helper/valve man ) , note for item no 2 ( a ) & ( b ) :- ( i ) the unit each shift shall means one operator engaged per shift . , manning , operation and maintenance of diesel generating set 250 kva , 25 kva and 15 kva . 200 kva installed at main substation and generator room 25 kva dg set installed at mi room , 15 kva dg set installed at pump house at coast guard station mandapam including attending ht/lt fuse , any calls in otm and married accommodation of coast guard mandapam and ensure uninterrupted electric supply in three shifts of 8 hrs including sundays and holidays by employing man power as given below for the entire system including attending telephonic complaints , maintain necessary records and documents complete all as specified and directed . note :03 nos of skilled operators ( electrician ) shall be deployed per day in the following shifts:-shift timings shift i 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs: shift ii 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs:shift iii 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs , ( a ) skilled operator ( electrician ) , note for 3 ( a ) :- ( ii ) the unit each shift shall means one operator engaged per shift . , manning and operation and maintenance of pump set centrifugal 5 hp-04 nos , 3 hp-02 nos , 2 hp -02 nos , 5 panel boards and attending water supply minor complaints and leakage and ensure no leakage in pipe lines and overflow in service tank and providing uninteruppted water supply to icgs mandapam in two shifts of 8 hrs including sundays and holidays by employing man power as given below for the entire system including attending telephonic complaints , maintain necessary records and documents complete all as specified and as directed . note :02 nos of unskilled helper ( wireman/valve man ) shall be deployed per day in the following shifts:-shift timings shift i 0400 hrs to 1200 hrs: shift ii 1200 hrs to 2000 hrs: , ( a ) unskilled helper ( wireman helper/valve man ) , note for item no 4 ( a ) :- ( i ) the unit each shift shall means one operator engaged per shift . , note for ht/lt items :- ( a ) repair/replacement of minor fittings like fan belt , hose , battery terminal clips , petroleum jelly , indication lamps , fuse wire etc , sahll be included in the unit rate quoted by the tenderer . ( b ) decision of engineer-in-charge as to what constitute minor fitting spares shall be final and binding . ( c ) daily maintenance of installation all as per manufactures instruction including greasing , lubricating etc shall be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor . ( d ) log sheet including daily running hours and maintenance carried out , consumption of grease , lubricants , dhpp ( diesel ) etc shall be maintained by the contractor in their installation and same will be checked by th eng-in-charge periodically and daily by je . ( e ) consumption of dhpp will be regulated by the dept . however supply of the items is out of the scope of work and dhpp ( diesel ) will be issued under sch b free for use only as and when requried basis at mes store yard free for running the installations . the contractor has to collect the diesel from the mes store yard . necessary vehicle for shifting of pol will be arranged by the contractor . the rate quoted shall be inclusive of transportation charges . ( f ) the rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for topping up of battery electrolyte , cleaning/replacement of battery terminals , charging of batteries and replacement of fan belt , fuel pipe , fuel cap if required etc all as directed by eng-in-charge . ( g ) the scope of work includes cleaning of vegetations/bushes in installations brick edging and fencing when required around installations . , note for pump items :- ( a ) the rate quoted shall be deemed to include for replacing old unserviceable worn-out bearing , nuts , bolts , terminals , foot valve , gland rope etc . replacement of dol starter and single phase preventors are out of scope of the unit rate quoted . ( b ) repair/replacement of minor fittings like fan belt , hose , battery terminal clips distilled water , petroleum jelly , indication lamps , fuse wire etc , will be included in the unit rate quoted by the tenderer . ( c ) decision of engineer-in-charge as to what constitute minor fitting spares shall be final and binding .
