repair to existing roads at nauveer nagar ins dwarka okha under ge ( i ) navy porbandar , preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc . sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags and mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirts etc and applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen at 5kg per 10 sqm of road surface and m&l bituminious premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with min 5 . 5% ( as per design mix ) binder content by weight of total mix laid by mechanical paver , rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete and rolling to uniform smooth surface with 10 to 12 tonne vibratory power roller using bitumin grade vg-30 complate all as specified . , providing and applying minimum 2 . 0mm thick road marking strips ( retro reflective ) n exc 10cm wide of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe , glass beads dispenser , propane tank heater and profile shoe heater , driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material , labour , t&p cleaning the road surface of all dirt , seals , oil grease and foreign material etc complete as per direction of engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications . , repair to pot holes any depth , not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud , or water , scoring sunken surfaces in roads , paths , etc . cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth , making good by applying tack coat 5kg/10 sqm , putting in premixed bituminous macadam ( minimum binder content of min 4% by weight of total mix as per design mix using vg30 ) well rammed and sealed with binder 9 . 80 kg/10 sqm , blinded with 0 . 09 cum of stone chippings , 6 . 30mm size and again well rammed ( including supply & laying premixed macadam binder and chippings ) , depth of pot holes exc 30 mm complete all as per irc specifications and as specified . note:- ( 1 ) design mix shall also clearly specify fillar ( cement % ) , total quantity & bitumen & rolling required for 30 mm thick semi dense and 75mm , 30mm bm . ( 2 ) contractor shall be aware of local material and design mix prevailing in area . if binder % workedout ( in design mix ) more then the % specified , same shall be provided wthout any extra cost . , repairs to pot holes any depth not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads , paths etc cutting ground edges to atleast 25mm in depth , making good by filling in screened & graded road metal , watering and well ramming ( including supply of road metals ) all as directed by engineer-in-charge .
