23Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply, Painting, Assembly, Inspection (Third Party Inspection) and Testing, Supervision of Installation, Packaging, Transport at site, Supervision of Testing and Commissioning at Site, including Mandatory, Commissioning Spares, Tools & tackles if any required, Documentation and providing mechanical and performance guarantee for Industrial Type AC UPS, Batteries, ACDB, and other items in scope of this enquiry located at JR Refinery Plant. Scope shall be in accordance with the requirements stated in this requisition, specification, Industry codes & standard and local rules & regulations as applicable and all the attached documents enclosed as annexure / attachments.
242 X 100% Independent, Non-Modular Type AC UPS with 6 pulse thyristor-based rectifier & IGBT based inverter with Bypass for each unit. UPS shall be rated for 3 kVA, with 240V AC output, 50Hz, 0.8 pf, suitable for 415V, 3-Ph, 50Hz AC input as per data sheets, SLD and Technical Specification and other documents attached with the Material Requisition and complete with all accessories required for satisfactory operation
251 No., Non integral Type, Non-Compartmentalized, Wall mounted, UPS ACDB (240V AC) with copper busbar of short circuit withstand capacity of 10kA for 1sec. ACDB with two incomers and one bus-coupler and outgoing feeders, metering, protection & other details as per data sheets, SLD and Technical Specification and other documents attached with the Material Requisition and complete with all accessories required for satisfactory operation.
26Each UPS shall be provided with 1 x 100% Ni-Cd battery cells (Pocket Plate Type) having total 1 hr Autonomy Period with Mild Steel, Epoxy Painted Battery Racks, and inter-cell cabling, complete with cell support accessories, insulated bases for cells and two diagonally located earth boss. Battery shall be sized by Bidders based on the following factors: - Design Margin – 1.20 Ageing Factor – 1.25 Minimum site ambient temperature - 4°C End cell voltage – 1.1V Capacity Rating Factor Duty Discharge Cycle – As per attached Annexure-3
27Each battery bank shall be provided with Ex’d’, IIC, T6 certified Battery Isolator in cast aluminium alloy (copper free) enclosure complete with non-magnetic drilled gland plate, cable glands and all accessories for installation. Battery Isolator shall be suitably sized by Bidder.
28Interconnecting Fire resistant Power Cable (Copper, flexible, heavy duty neoprene PVC / XLPE insulated, FR PVC outer sheath) of required cross section for connection between AC UPS, Battery isolators, Batteries and UPS ACDB including flameproof cable glands and lugs. Interconnecting power cables between UPS and battery, UPS and UPS ACDB shall be suitable for peak loading and the allowable voltage drop of max 2.5 %. Following min. cable lengths to be considered: - UPS to Battery isolator: 25 mtr. Battery isolator to battery: 5 mtr. UPS to UPS ACDB: 15 mtr. Lengths are indicative only. Bidders to consider cable length based on attached layouts
29Battery accessories for each battery bank as indicated in attached Specifications and data sheets.
30Battery Cell Booster as per data sheets, Technical Specification and other documents attached with the Material Requisition and complete with all accessories required for satisfactory operation
31Supervision of Installation, Testing and Commissioning of AC UPS system and Batteries (10 Man days for each set). Total Days: 50 Mandays

33Overtime rate / hour beyond normal 8 hours work on normal working days.
34Overtime rate / hour for work on weekly off days / holidays (as applicable to Refinery site).
