w/sr (road)-03/bb cantt/2025-26.; 1 demoliton of stone slabs and tiles of any description of thickness in floors, aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any motar, all as specified. 2 demolition of cement concrete in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15cm thickness (below or above ground level), all as specified. 3 m&l 75mm thick, plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type c-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in floor, hardsatnding etc finished even & fair, all as specified. 4 m&l sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation, all as specified. 5 m&l machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to is 15658-2006 of 100mm thickness, m-50 grade and no pigment complete all as specified and directed. 6 m&l providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type b-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) set in cement mortar 1:6 in window or door cills, intels, steps coping, kneelers, pler caps, columns, post etc and setting in mortar complete with joints to match, all as specified. 7 m&l pcc 1:2:4 type b-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in providing, cement concrete cills, steps, parapets and railings upto 60cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs including necessary form work, all as specified and directed. 8 scarifying or picking up gravelled macadam surfaces in area n.exc 400 sqm exc 50mm but n.exc 100mm deep including removing materials from site of work or stacking for re-use at site complete all as specified and directed. 9 m&l 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) wbm, with coarse aggregate granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed. 10 preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc.sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc un-surfaced water bound macadams, all as specified. 11 m & l applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (using paving bitumen) at 10 kg per 10 sqm, complete all as specified and as directed. 12 m&l premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen vg-30 @ 4% (minimum) by the weight of total mix laid rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed complete, all as specified and as directed. 13 preparing surfaces black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, all as specified. 14 applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 3 kg per 10 sqm with paving bitumen for bituminous surfaces, all as specified. 15 applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sqm with paving bitumen for bituminous surfaces, all as specified. 16 m& l for bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content of paving bitumen gde -vg-30 by weight of total mix rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid with mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne roller to required complete all as specified and as directed.note for serial item no 12 to 16:- (i)preparation of mixin hotmix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible and has to maintain the required temperature of mix under all conditions tjill it is laid and compacted. unit rate against these itrems shall include for carrying out the works with depolyment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable.(ii) central computerised hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of constituents for preparation of bituminous macadam and the same shall be laid with mechanical sensor paver all as specifiedand directed (iii) over newly provided bituminous macadam surfaces, further bituminous work, if ordered, shall be provided simultaneously after provision of bituminous macadamı & πο separate payment for provision of tack coat for bonding between the bituminous macadam & further bituminous work necessiated due to the time period gap or otherwise shall be made for separately (iv) the design mix shall be carried out from the zonal lab/ govt approved lab/govt engr college as approved by ge and design mix shall be got approved by ge before (v) the cost of all the above aspects shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of above item 17 m& l for 2.5mm thick painting to new or old road surfaces as in line, dashes, arrows, letters zebra crossing etc on road, pavements and like with thermoplastic road marking paint @ 5kg/sqm and applying glass beads @300gms/sqm over painted surfaces white the painted surfaces are hot by mechanical means including cleaning surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.
