(b) check vacuum indicator and replace air filter based on its condition. (c) adjust tappets and injectors clearance. (d) replace valve cover gasket. (e) check vibration damper for any visual damage/ deformation. replace if required. (f) check and record engine crankshaft end plays [limit 0.006” (0.15 mm)/ 0.013” (0.33)]. (g) check and record engine turbocharger axial play [ limit 0.001” (0.0025 mm)- 0.004” (0.10 mm)] and radial play [limit 0.007” (0.17 mm)- 0.02” (0.50 mm)]. (h) check condition of all clamps and hoses. replace if needed. (j) check for any leakage in lube oil and coolant lines and correct them. (k) check engine alternator alignment and correct if needed. (l) check all wiring connection for any abnormalities, correct if required. (m) check sea water pump and fresh water pump. overhaul if needed.
