bids are invited for 6000 h-9 & adjust tappets and injectors clearance. replace valve cover gaskets. 6000 h-10 6000 h-11 check vibration damper for any visual damage / deformation. replaced if required 6000 h-12 check and record engine crankshaft end plays. [ limit 0.006 ( 0.15mm ) / 0.013 ( 0.33mm ) ] . 6000 h-13 check and record engine turbocharger axial play [ limit ] 0.001 ( 0.0025mm ) - 0.004 ( 0.10mm ) ] and radial play [ 0.007 ( 0.17mm ) -0.02 ( 0.50mm ) ] 6000 h-20 check engine blow-by ( limit 25 inch of h2o ) . take corrective action if needed. 6000 h-21 6000 h-22 calibrate pt pump and injectors. replaced thermostat of cooling system alongwith o ring. 6000 h-24 check all wiring connection for any abnormalities and correct if required. 6000 h-25 & 6000 h-26 check all engine mounted safety switches / sensors and gauges for functionality and replaced if required. start engine and carry out trial on designed load. record all parameters. 6000 h-14, 6000 h-15 & clean turbocharger, compressor wheel and diffuser. torque turbocharger manifolds nuts or cap screw as per specs. inspect turbocharger and overhaul if required. 6000 h-16 6000 h-18 check engine alternator alignment and correct if needed. 6000 h-19 overhaul sea water pump and fresh water pump. 6000 h-23 overhaul air starting motor and battery charging alternate.
