supply of potable water to various locations at ins dwarka okha under ge ( i ) navy porbandar , transportation of potable water in bowser from gorinja head works , gwssb , dwarka pegion to various locations in of ins dwarka , okha by water bowser of capacity 22 , 000 litre each including filling from source point and draining out / pumping to water storage tank / sump complete all as specified and as directed by engr-in-charge . notes:- ( a ) the payment for supply of water by gorinja head works , shall be made by the department . ( b ) the bowser through which water is proposed to be trasported should equiped with suitable capacity of pump for drawing water from the source of supply in case of power failure at the source and cost is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted . , supply and transportation of potable water from veravala village to various locations in proximity of ins dwarka , okha by water bowser of capacity 22 , 000 litre each including transprotation and draining out / pumping water to storage tank / sump complete all as specified and as directed by engr-in-charge . , supply and transportation of potable water from veravala village to naval costal battery okha by water bowser of capacity 5000 litre each and draining out / pumping water to storage tank complete all as specified and as directed by engr-in-charge . , supply and transportation of potable water from veravala village to naval park at arambada okha by water bowser of capacity 22000 litre each and draining out / pumping water to storage tank complete all as specified and as directed by engr-in-charge . , note for item 1 to 4:- ( a ) work orders will be issued by concerned engineer-in-charge on requirement bases . ( b ) contractor shall be liable to supply stipulated quantity of water as per wo daily by water bowser of capacity mentioned in respective items . however water bowser of capacity 12000 ltrs will be acceptable in emergency and two nos of bowsers will be measured as one unit for the payment purpose for item no . 1 , 2 & 4 of boq . if contractor fails to supply bowser due to any reason double the quoted rate per bowser will be recovered from the payments due to the contractor . ( c ) all water bowser shall be provided with tds meter of superior quality and duly calibrated to check the tds of water any time as directed by engr-in-charge . ( d ) necessary tullu pump/diesel engine driven pump with flexible piping arrangement as directed at site by engr-in-charge for pumping water from bowser to swimming pool make up water tank/ac plant will be arranged by the contractor and cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the item rate . ( d ) the maximum permissible tds of water supplied shall be as per clause 5 of ps-ii . a recovery of rs . 1000 per 100 tds per bowser for item no . 2 to 4 of boq shall be recovered beyond the permissible tds and contractor shall have no claim on this account .
