bids are invited for supply of portable water through bowser sunjuwan and miran sahib mil stn, 1 supply of potable water bowser any capacity from the source as identified and approved by ge obligue stn hq and transporting the same from approved filling point and per 9000 ltrs 01 empting the same i e potable water ferryed through bowser semi obligue under ground sumps way of water pumping motor fitted to water tank bowser connected to house pipe of minimum 50 mm dia approx 50 mts lengh at various locations at sunjuwan mil stn and miran sahib mil stn under ge jammu complete all as directed by engineer in change the source within 10 km radius from the stn quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of pumping water from bowser to reservios obligue ug sumps etc as ordered 2 supply of potable water bowser any capacity from the source as identified and approved by ge obligur stn hq and transporting the same from approved filling point and per 9000 ltrs 01 empting the same i e potable water ferryed through bowser semi obligue under ground sumps way of water pumping motor fitted to water tank bowser connected to house pipe of minimum 50 mm dia approx 50 mts lengh at various locations at sunjuwan mil stn and miran sahib mil stn under ge jammu complete all as directed by engineer in change the source within 20 km radius from the stn quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of pumping water from bowser to reservios obligue ug sumps etc as ordered 3 collection of water sample supplied under item no 1 and 2 here in above from the delivered areas of both civil or defence area as and when ordered for further carring out testing ie water analysis test for chemical and bacteriological obligue biological properties from any approved govt laboratory and obtaining test reoprt from any govt apporoved laboratory and be submitted to the engr in charge note the approval of source of water point being sought for supply of bowser should be with in a radius of mixmum 20 km from sunjuwan and miran sahib mil stn a minimum of two water filling point shall be got approved from govt lab and futher contractor should ensure that the requirement of supply of water 4 contractor or his partner or any of his blood related family member should pocess ie should be owner of at least 3 nos bowser contractor shall be rejected during technical evaluation of the subject tender 5 water supply shall commence within a short notice of 3 hrs and shall be completed within 3 to 8 hrs of placing order assuring the quality of water is contractors responsibility 6 there is no minimum and maximum limit for supply by bowsers per day for both the seasons the requirement for demand of water and specific peroid for supply shall be intimated well in advance by engineer in charge and accordingly contractor should supply water 7 phone no of contractor supplier shall be officially decleared 8 if water is not supplied within 8 hrs panally shall be levied at double the cost of quoted obligue accepted rate 9 for whatso everreasons if the approved water points fails to supply water in that case it is the responsibility of contractor to intimate the fresh source place for supply of water that to within a radius of 20 km from from this office along with necessary test of water from approved lab after obtaning written approval from engineer in charge water shall be governed to supply by contractors the cost the testing shall be borne by the contractor 10 if the consumer have any health issue or medical problems proved due to the water consumed in that case contractors shall be resposible for any related issue and liabilities if any shall be borne by the contractor 11 if any court case is filed by consumers on this account the same shall be dealt contractors at his own expenditure 12 contractor shall supply water in hygencially neat and clean water bowser and shall be free dust, dirt scales and orther impurities 13 quality of water shall be as per the requirement of laid down policy and test ceritifacte to prove the potabily of water issued by a govt approved laboratory shall be produced by the contractor the water shall conform to acceptablity limits of potability as laid down in is 10500 14 the register for water bowser will be maintained by engr in charge and countersigned by the ge total quantity : 1845
