supply of fresh water through bowser for 9.814 acre land at willingdon island kochi under garrison engineer (i) (cg) kochi-supply and fill potable water 7 kilo litre per day for a period of 11 months into existing water tanks / sumps situated at 9.814 acre land at willingdon island kochi as required basis through water bouzer including necessary pumping and metering arrangement for a period of 11 months and complete all as specified and as directed.. note for item no 1 :-(a)contractor shall supply water in hygienically neat and clean water bouzers free from dust, dirt and scales.(b)water bouzer shall be coated internally with epi coating and externally with synthetic enamel paintover anticorrosive paint.(c)quantity of water will be measured and paid as per the actual meter reading only.(d)the rate quoted shall deem to be included for all transit losses, loading/ unloading of water in bowser and water sumps.(e) if the meter is defective, the same shall be repaired/replaced by the contractor immediately without any liability to govt. (f) testing of water (routine test as per is 10500) in approved govt laboratory shall be carried out for each day of supply for each location. quality of water shall be tested (routine test) and test certificate to prove the potability of water issued by the govt approved laboratory shall be produced by the contractor for each day of supply of water from each location from the first load.the water shall be tested for essential characteristics, bacteriological examination for routine test as laid in is 10500-2012 and confirm to the requirement. the rate quated shall be deemed to be inclusive of the daily testing charges. 2 testing of water for all parameters as per is-10500-2012 in a govt approved nabl laboratory all as specified and as directed.note : the sample of water shall be taken jointly by the representative of engineer-in-charge and contractor from the each source of supply for testing for all parameters mentioned in is-10500-2012 as per table 2 to 6 of general parameters concerning substances undesirable in excessive amount, pesticide residues limits, parameters concerning toxic substances/radio active substances and test method and bacteriological quality of drinking water as per is-10500-2012 from govt approved nabl lab from list of national accredition board for testing and calibration laboratories and report shall be produced by the contractor before commencing the supply under this contract.periodical testing of water shall be carried out for all parameters mentioned at an interval of 90 days or on change of source.
