consultancy services for construction of stp of capacity appx 3 . 8 mld at aoc secunderabad , topographical surveys of area including survey of existing sewage system for preparation and supply of l section , contour map ( 0 . 5 m intreval ) in relation to design of central sewage scheme for designated area of secunderabad . survey shall also include verification and establishment of invert level at branch trunk and main sewers and man holes at an intreval of 30 metres for the area as per drawings . during survey , all buildings of surveying area to be superimposed on the drawings along with its building number . the details of the buildings pocket wise along with its size , building no . and type ( office/otm/md accn/sm barracks , etc ) to be provided in a seperate sheet , boring 150 mm dia through all kinds of soil upto a depth of 10 mtrs for bldgs below ground level or upto spt strength value>50 , collecting samples and conducting necessary field tests as per the following parameters:- ( a ) depth of bore holes may be taken minimum 10 mtrs or n value reaches 50 , which ever is earlier ( b ) spt values at every 0 . 75 m intervals and change of strata . ( c ) grain size distribution and analysis . ( d ) soil characteristics . ( e ) value of cohesion and angle of internal friction . ( f ) recommended sbc at different depths of foundation i . e . at 1500 mm , 2000 mm , 2500 mm . ( g ) sbc and its calculation based on n value sheet strength and settlement criteria should be worked out for following size of footing 1 . 5x1 . 5 , 1 . 5x2 . 5 , 2x2 . 5& 2x3 m . ( h ) depth of water table ( maximum and minimum ) . ( j ) depth of expansive soil and its properties , if any . ( k ) recommendation for type of foundation . ( l ) recommendation as regards possibility of liquification of soil in case of standard or partially saturated or uncompacted sandy soil . ( m ) recommedation for filling under floors and filling under protection including plinth protection . ( n ) chemical analysis of soil . ( o ) details of soil profile . ( p ) any other recommendations . ( q ) charges for mobilisation of equipment & shifting of rigs from one bore hole location to another bore hole location .
