tender for work include repairing & overhauling fan of diifrent transformer 220/132 kv (04 nos.) & 132/33 kv (03 nos.) installed at 220 kv s/s barahuwa gkp under etsd i gkp. repairing with complete rewinding &repairing of old fan motor of 3-phase, 415volt, 50hz, 900 rpm,1/2hp. the scope of work includes safe disconnection of electrical wirings of fan, removing case guard of cooling fan, removing fan motor from 220/132 kv and 132/33 kv transformer radiator, cutting out burnt coils, cleaning carbon deposited on stator core thereafter complete rewinding with f class insulated fresh super enameled copper wire of standard gauge & drying out properly after varnishing. this job also includes cleaning oiling/greasing/ lubrication of bearing, replacement of defective bearing/bushes & fan blades if required, replacement of burn-out contact if required, proper alignment of motor shaft & fan wheel, proper sealing, changing of connection leads etc. the works also includes refitting/reinstallation back on radiator structure, checking the performance of the fan after connecting the proper supply and starting/stopping of fan & desired setting and free from abnormal noise as per supervision of site incharge. all men, material, consumable, t&p shall be provided by the contractor at his own construction rate including buy back cost of scrap copper from fan. the material and work shall be done so that there is gurantee of replacement and repair of contractor, fan and auxiliary circuit of fan.
