tender for defect rectification on electrical defects onboard icgs c-161; 1 l-003: stbd da ( make: caterpillar, model: c4.4 dita, 69 kw ) international getting shut down view observed ‘over frequency alarm’ during starting operation. defect to be rectified and proved for satisfactory operation. 2 l-011: abnormal noise and spark observed from stbd da ( make: caterpillar, model: c4.4 dita, 69 kw ) during starting at alternator end cover. suspect bearing worn out and rotorr misalignment. defect to be rectified and proved for satisfactory operation. following inway jobs included:- ( i ) remove and fitment of alternator. ( ii ) remove and fitment engine connecting all pipelines, if required. ( iii ) alternator rotor misalignment to be check. if found, alignment to be carried out. ( iv ) exciter winding to be check. 3 l-012: main switch board stbd battery charger ( make: eltek, type: fp2-2000w ) not getting switched “on”. suspect processor pcb malfunctioning. defect to be rectified and proved for satisfactory operation. => limited
