In First Phase Of Project Rs 85-Crore Was To Be Commissioned By December 2011, & Rs 120-Crore For Second Phase Was To Be Ready By 2013-14. The Unit Was To Have Initial Capacity Of 250 Wagons A Year, Which Was To Go Up To 1,200 High-End Wagons A Year. According To Official Sources Apart From Providing The Land, SAIL Would Put In Proportionate Investment In The Joint Venture.

4643 Works on path of Mussoorie-Dehradun ropeway project will begin by May 15. Its one of the longest project in State covering a distance of 11 km between the two major tourist destinations, Mussoorie & Dehradun. Project will be built at a cost of nearly Rs 800 crore. Ropeway will be located at a height of 15 to 40 metres. According to official source, project will not damage any environment activity. In first phase works would begin from Hathipaon to Library & in second phase of work from Purkul to Hathipaon will be constructed.

To protect these cattle to death government has envisages a new Pashmina Wool Development Scheme, in which they will provide financial assistance of Rs 41.21 crore. Major component of scheme are, health coverage and feed supplement; strengthening of existing fodder bank and pashmina goat breeding farm. Ladak is producer of more than 80 % of the total Pashmina yield of the country.

4639 Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers have got pre-Public Investment Board clearance for expansion of its urea capacity by 1.27 million tonnes annually at Thal plant, near Mumbai, with an investment of Rs 4,112.5 crore. The project will be a joint venture effort with another PSU, Coal India Ltd. CIL will supply coal for the project.

EPC order for four-laning of Kiratpur Ner Chowk section of NH-21.This Four laning project of Kiratpur Ner Chowk Section of NH-21 in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh , would be completed in 1,005 days. The total length of the project is 84.375 Kms, which covers Rupnagar in Punjab and the districts of Bilaspur and Manali in Himachal Pradesh.

With addition of 500 MW power supply, state government would be in a better position to satisfy power demands in Gujarat this year.

4635 The first 660 MW unit at the Sasan Ultra Mega Power Plant has been commissioned by Reliance Power with an estimated investment of over Rs 20,000 crore. The project was awarded to the company in 2007. Coal production has already commenced from the Moher and Moher-Amlohri coal mines and Chhatrasal coal block has also received forest clearance, is under development. The plant has also been connected to the National Grid

4634 Indiabulls Power the flagship company of Indiabulls Group has announced, the synchronisation of the first unit (270 MW) of its 1350 MW Amravati plant in Maharashtra with the Western Region grid. electricity from the plant is proposed to be supplied to MSEDC against the Power Purchase Agreement inked for supply of power for 25 years. The Company is constructing a total of 5,400 MW comprising of two 2,700 MW Coal-based thermal power projects, one at Nandgaonpeth, Amravati District and another at Sinnar, Nashik District.
