Mechanical Testing- Tensile, Yield, Precentage Of Elongation And Hardness As Per Table 2 Of Clause 9.1 Of Is 2004:1991. Heat Treatment- Forging To Be Supplied To Normallised Hardened And Tempered Condition As Per Table 2 Of Is 2004:1991. Magnaflux Testing: For The Detection Of Surface Crake / Flaws. Ultrasonic Testing: For The Detection Of Sub Surface Cracks / Flaws. Additional Tests- Bend Test-To Be Carried Out As Per Percent U2013 Clause No. 12.1.2. Of Is 2004:1991 Examination Of Grain Flow:- By Sectioning And Macro Etching. Macro Structure Should Not Show Any Coarse Randomly Oriented Dendritic Structure. Minimum Reduction Ratio:- Forging To Be Processed With Reduction Ratio As 2.5:1. Load Testing:-Link To Be Tested With A Dead Load Of 22.5 Tones. 1.Test Mentioned In The Description Is Mandatory. 2. Testing To Be Done From The Nabl Accredited Laboratories And Test Report Should Be Enclosed With The Supply.
