| 15 | Supplying at the site of work Hot Dip Galvanised members for replacing the missing members (if any) of Tower, Working Platform, Safety Cage, Ladder, Wave Guide Rack, Antennea Fixture etc. of required section, shape and size including Drilling Holes for fixing bolts etc. all in conformity with the approved drawings of BSNL and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge and shall be made out of primary source of structural steel of approved make. NOTES: (a) All material shall be Hot Dip Galvanised. The fabrication & galvanising shall be as per the relevant IS code. (b) Weight of each member supplied shall be taken for payment purpose. (c) The Rate includes the cost of all material and labour required for all the operations mentiond in the item including all carriage, taxes and other contingencies. |
| 16 | Credit for galvanized steel section like angles, flats, bolts, nuts, spring washers etc removed from the tower due to corrosion, cracked wrapped bent sillipary etc. (The contractor shall be allowed to take the steel sections only after the completion of the work) |
| 17 | Providing and fixing spike type lightening arrester at top of tower on the sufficent height over GI member with lighting rod made of copper, with 12mm dia and 600 mm length as per IS 613:(2000) with a spike on one end and threading on the other, shall be provided on the top at the lug with a hole provided at 0.50m below the top of the tower necessary fixtures at top of the tower as per detailed drawing. The spike shall be insulated from tower by Teflon insulator material. The spike shall be connected to Copper / G.I. plate earthing with 25 x 5 mm Flat GI strip (supported along the tower with insulator) with proper lugging arrangement as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 18 | Supplying and laying 25 x 5 mm G.I. strip from lightening arrestor and termination of same at Ground level with the earthing as per standards and requirement of site. The item includes the cost of insulators, lugs and nuts / bolts for support. |
| 19 | Dismantling and dismembering Roof Top tower of (upto 24 mt height) and stacking of tower members within lead of 50 mtr. including stacking, sorting & numbering of all material i/c all fasteners, mounts, base plate, platforms, ladder, vertical cable tray, anteena, RF cable, electrical cable etc. all complete as per direction of engineer in charge. Note: The rate of this item shall include the cost of all labour, T&P other equipments etc. required for all operations specified above including scaffolding, saftey measures, belts, insurance of labour etc. The rate includes all the above operations and nothing extra shall be paid for execution of the said work. |
| 20 | Labour charges for hoisting, fixing and erection of upto 24 metre high roof top tower at all heights with all its necessary components i.e. climbing ladder, cable tray, platforms 'if any' and fixing with bolts, nuts and spring washers etc. including all T&P, scaffolding, safety arrangements, ropes, safety belts etc. i/c weilding etc. wherever required and carrying over of the tower material up to the roof where the said tower is to be erected etc. all complete in all respect as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (The payment of steel structural works; additionally required that are not available or replacing the damaged members, nut, bolts and washers etc. required will be paid separately) (The tower is to be supplied by the department from the store of the BA or to be transported from the existing location after dismantling) (The Rate includes the cost of lifting Tower and all allied material from ground level upto floor Five level) |
