Dismantling and taking down old unserviceable point wiring of any type (light, fan, socket, power etc) complete with fitting such as switches, sockets, ceiling roses, pendants, lamp holders, light fitting etc including CI/ pressed steel terminals, switch box and making good the disturbed surface of wall/ floor etc to match with the existing surfaces of wall/ floor complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- (i) If the contractor fail to make good the disturbed surface of wall/ floor etc and do not match with the existing surface of wall/ floor to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge, a recovery of @ Rs. 50/- per RM will be made from payment due to the Contractor. In case of any dispute, the decision of Accepting Officer will be final and binding.(ii) Old fittings/ fixtures / accessories like switches, sockets, lamp holders, regulators etc., if found in serviceable condition shall be removed carefully for reuse in the work or taking on charge.
