| 10 | Steel tubular swaged pole, type 410 SP 55 (Overall length 11.00 meter) conforming to IS-2713 (Part 1 to 3) 1980 complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and washers, screws. Pole shall be painted with two coat of black bituminous throughout internally and externally upto planting depth and the remaining external portion shall be painted with two coats of aluminum paints over a coat of red oxide primer including painting from bottom to 1.2m height alternatively with 30cm red and white strip and writing pole no with black paint on yellow background complete all as specified and as directed.Note: Excavation and Earth work, PCC in foundation and coping shall be measured and paid separately. |

| 16 | Materials and labour for earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick, buried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connected with GI strip of size 25mm x 4mm by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe of 40mm bore (light grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor of main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20 mm bore galvanised iron pipe (medium grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15 cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20 mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of10mm dia) including necessary earth work in excavation, refilling, filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009) complete including testing on completion including taking down old unserviceable earthing set all as specified and as directed.Note:- (i) Main earthing strip from earth plate electrode to test point upto length of 7.5 meters length shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item.(ii) On testing after completion if the desired resistance is not obtained the contractor shall redo the earthing without any extra cost to the department. |
