| 3 | Excavation, loading, unloading and carriage by mechanical means of all kinds of soil, including stoney earth, gravel and moorum etc interspread with boulders upto 1/2 cum size with all lifts and delifts including trimming of slopes and bed to design section and depositing the excavated materials away from work site as per the specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge within an initial lead of 1km from the place of excavation complete. |
| 4 | Earth work in filling in any approved type of soil from approved borrow area by mechanical means loading into and transportation by mechanical means and unloading the soil within initial lead of 5 km on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including spreading and leveling the earth in 22.5cm layers to make ready for watering earth work up to OMC condition and compaction by V.R.R. in embankment for all heights including construction, maintenance, watering lighting of haul road and borrow area and running charges of all machineries, cess etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. |
| 5 | Watering earth work up to OMC condition and compaction by sheep foot roller and dozers in layers not exceeding 22.50 cm to 95% dry density including hire and running charges of all machineries complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. | 6 | Earth work excavation of foundation canal structure in hard soil or Gravelly soil within 50m. Initial lead over 1 extra lead and 1.5m initial lift including rough dressing and levelling the bed and depositing the excaveted earth away from site and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 7 | Filling in foundation & plinth with sand watered and rammed including cost,conveyance,royalty & cess etc.complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 8 | Plain Cement Concrete grade M-15 using 40mm and down graded black hard granite crusher broken chips using cement, coarse and fine aggregates of approved quality, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity / appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork, , spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle / screed / plate vibrator and finished in continuous operation including provision of construction joints, curing of concrete for 14-days, as per the direction of Engineer in Charge. |
| 9 | RCC/Plain Cement Concrete grade M-20 using 20mm and down graded black hard granite crusher broken chips using cement, coarse and fine aggregates of approved quality, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity / appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film (in bed), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle / screed / plate vibrator and finished in continuous operation including provision of construction joints, curing of concrete for 14-days, as per the direction of Engineer in Charge. |
