Wherever required and possible, BHEL will try to depute only one mechanic suitable for the heaviest capacity crane (under this category) available at a particular site under particular vendor. Such mechanic must be able to attend preventive maintenace requirement of the cranes as per Crane OEM's Manual. Mechanic with desired skills as mentioned in SCC is to be deployed else payment towards mechanic will be discontinued.

Deputed Mechanic under this category will be responsible for day to day maintenance of all the cranes available at that site under the vendor .
