Excavation in foundations, trenches etc. In earth work, lift upto 1.50 metres stacking the excavated soll not more than 3 metres clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm layers, when required in to plinths sides of foundations etc, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed within a lead of 20 metres complete as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Do Laying, jointing and testing in trenches (to level or grade) G.I. pipe of following dia (H/M Class) conforming to IS 1239-1990 (Part-1) with latest upto date amendments of grade and wall thickness as specified below, suitable to withstand required hydraulic test pressure in randum length 4m-6m with plain ends and jointed with MS Flanges conforming to IS 6392-1971(Latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges as per IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS 814-1991 including required number and size of MS nuts and bolts as per 15 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3.00 mm in thickness as per IS 2712-1998. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces (two layers outter side & one inner side) to make the joints leak proof (earth work, providing and welding M.S flanges and butt welded joints to be mearsured and paid separately) and to entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The laying of pipes conform to 15 5822-1994 and as per CPHEEO manual and will include all operations such as cutting, welding and jointing induding flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respect as per direction and to the entire satisfation of Engineer-in-charge up to leads and lifts. (Earth work in trench, providing and welding of M.S. Flanges and butt welded joint shall be measured and paid for seperately.) (Labour Rate)

Dismantling, Re-laying and testing in trenches of mild steel electrically resistance welded bevelled edge flanged/Butt welded pipe conforming to IS/ISO 3183-2012 of below mentioned grades in item as per dimensions, weight and test pressure mentioned therein code (mill tolerances to be restricted within+-3%) in random lengths of 6 to 7 mtrs including the cost of babrication of bends by butt welding from parent tube as required at site. Welding of pipes will be down as per IS 816-1969 with lectrodes as per 15 814-1991 of make Adwani/Orelan (Adore)/ESAB. The laying & jointing of pipes should conform to IS 5822-1994 (earth work in trenches, flanged joint and butt welded joints except in bends to be measured and paid for sprately) The pipes and specials shall have out side wrapping with galvanized as per BIS-4736, the galvanization is done by the manufacturing firm Itself complete in all respect

Providing circumferencial Butt welded joints by electrical arc welding to 50 mm dia GI Pipes medium class, welded in requisite number of weld runs so as to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to 15 816-1969 specifications, by using welding electrodes of 2.5mm to 6.3mm of Advani Oerlikon (Adore)- CITOJET/ESAB make, conforming to IS 814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects, including manual/mechanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
