| 1 | Fabrication, trial assembly of 1X42 M bow String girder for LC No.448 and 1X48m bow string girder +1X18 m span composite Girder for LC no. 184 as per drawing, and or approved fabrication drawings, complete with steel conforming to IS:2062:2011, which will be supplied by BBJ. With agency\"s all materials, machineries tools tackles consumables ( from RDSO approved manufactures) , energy/ power all leads lifts, labour, etc. at RDSO approved agency\"s owned premises complete in all respect as per approved drawing and specifications, relevant clause of the contract and RDSO guidelines.The fabrication cost also include all type of stiffeners, packing, diaphragm, steel drift, shop welds, all type of gases, shop rivets/ service bolts , templates, jigs, fixtures, back up supports accessories etc. to complete the job. The rate shall include testing charges of all materials preparation of QAP, WPSS, WPQR and getting it approved by RDSO or any other agency as decided by BBJ /Railway. No part of the work shall be painted or coated , packed or despatch until it has been finally inspected and approved by the inspecting officer as per QAP. The rate shall also include the cost of approval by RDSO / any other agency as decided by BBJ. |

| 7 | Grit/ sand blasting, Aluminium metalized (as per cl.:39.2.1 of RDSO:B1 and as per the RDSO stipulation vide letter No. CBS/MPP/Meeting; dt. 10/04/2014) preceded by surface preparation by compressed air blasting/ centrifugal blasting with suitable abrasive material (as per cl.: 39.201 Appendix VII of RDSO: B1)The metalizing shall be followed by one coat of etch primer to IS:5666, onecoat of zinc chrome yellow primer to IS:104 with the additional provision that zinc chrome to be used in the manufacture of primer shall confirm to type -II of IS:51 followed byone coat of aluminium paint to IS:2339. The above Painting/ Metalizing scheme is a brief outline – but these will be guided by all the provisions as detailed in cl. 39.2 and 39.2.1 of RDSO:B-1 along with relevant appendices and other codes mentioned therein. The rate shallinclude all consumables, metalizing wire, all kind of gases, abrasive materials, paints, diesel plant machinery, labour lead lift with proper stacking as complete the job. The rate shall also include testing charges of all material like metalizing wire and 3 (three) types of paints . It also include scratch test and measuring of DFT thickness as per provision of QAP and RDSO guideline. The final coat of Aluminium paint to be applied after all works are completed clearance by Railway /BBJ |
| 8 | Transportation of painted girder from fabrication work shop to site with truck / trailer including loading with proper wooden packing in-between members and marking of individual member. Material should be sent span wise, in a proper sequence. During transportation proper care should be taken to avoid distortion in painted girder. Any dent in painted girder to be rectified at siteby the agency. |
