| 6 | M&L for DB2K Specification applied in following stages-(i) Surface Preparation :- Surface preparation to be done by Mechanical means such as grinding, chasing open the construction joints , Small cracks, Corner joints , bug holes should be opened up, cleaned and filled with Powder Based Repair Mortar.(ii) Bore Packing: All the borehole gaps between concrete surface,stone masonary pointing/joints and all conduit PVC pipe of various dia upto the neck level shall be filled with dual-shrinkage compensated free flow grout - SmartCare GP Grout or approved equivalent make.The periphery of the PVC pipe should be sealed with SC Hybrid PU Sealant or equivalent approved make. (iii) Application of Bond coat- SBR based Repair Polymer.Waterproofing Coating: Application of two component elastomeric acrylic polymer modified cementitious waterproofing coating, SmartCare Dampblock 2K or equivalent with a consumption of 1.5 Kg/Sqm in 2 coats. Cure the coating for another 3-4 days, Water pond taste etc as per manufacturers specifications as under-The coating shall be CFTRI Certified.Elongation >80±15% per ASTM D 2370Hydrostatic pressure resistance - Positive side 5 Bar as per EN12390-8:2019. Crack bridging upto 1±0.3 mm as per EN 1062. |
| 7 | Note for item No.6 above :-The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer ofthe materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE. (b) The Contractor shall submit \"Memoradum of Understanding\" (MOU) with one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, before commencement of work.(c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures.(d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc(e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(h) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. |

| 14 | M & L over primer surfaces on item No-12 above and applying for water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon additive excellent dirt pickup resistance with low VOC less than 50, Antifungal / Anti Algai properties in two coats @ 1.79 litre (undiluted) / 10 Sqm diluted with water as per manufacturer\"s instruction applied over primed surface with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of minimum 1 litre per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in between subsequent coats of paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. |

| 17 | M&L for carrying out repair dammagedRCC projections,chajja facia, roof projection facia, etc in the following stages -(i) Demolition of existings dammaged RCC projection,chajja facia, roof projection faciaand similar suspended work and (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition).(ii) Preparation of existing demolised portion by scrapping, cutting, chiseling, derusting and cleaning exposed reinforcement, surfaces of damaged, loose RCC and providing cement concrete (1:1.5:3) using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate including necessary form work and reinforced with low carbon annealed wire in hexagonal shape 1.0mm diametre chicken wire mesh of size 25mm complete.(iii) Providing and applying approved chemical rust remover with paint brush on corroded rebar and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application and washed with sufficient quantity of water to make rebar free from corrosion.(iv) Providing & fixing new reinforcement of various diameters as required at site in the form of mild steel and /or steel confirming to IS and lapping, welding, anchoring suitable to the old reinforcement including cutting, bending with all tools & tackles etc;(v)Applying 1stcoat rendering of 10mm thickin CM (1:3)over demolished concrete facia/projection surfaces and allow to dry 6-8 Hrs and cured with gunny jute bag. (vi) Applying finished coat of 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 using 100% coarse sand over 1st coat rendered surfaces and finished surface even and smooth with using extra cement and mixed with 3% integral water proofing compound and making drip mouldings as reqiured and cured with jute gunny bag for 7 days,complete all asdirected by Engr-in-Charge.(vii) Preparation of surface and applying two coats of weather coat paint over a coat of exterior wall care puttyto match existing surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 18 | Note:- (Reinforcement shall be paid in respective item of Schedule A)The rates quoted by the bidders/Contractor shall include thefollowing:-(a) Work carried out up to 12 Mtr in height.(b) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work andall protective measures responsibilty.(c) Removal of excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed by Engr-in Charge. |
