Galvanizing of Hand rail tubes, Hand rail bends, (tube dia 27.3 to 60.8) and other components like flats and ladder, structure of galleries andplatforms, Plate/sheet formed structures etc. as per the drawings, quality work instructions from BHEL/BHEL vendors supplied materials. Galvanizing to be done to 600 gsm/610 gsm/ 750 gsm/900 gsm depending up on the QP/CQR/ project requirement. Basic cleaning, degreasing, caustic cleaning, pickling, rinsing, fluxing etc prior to galvanizing and post galvanizing processes as per standard are to be done by Galvanizing vendor. Unloading of jobs and loading of galvanized jobs are in galvanizing vendors scope. For rate schedules where delivery terms are EXWORKS (loaded) basis, materials for Galvanizing will be delivered to your works by BHEL/BHEL vendors and the galvanized job shall be collected back from your works. For rate schedules where delivery terms are F.O.R basis, the quoted rates shall include transportation charges. Hence, transport charges are NOT APPLICABLE/PAYABLE to Galvanizing vendors.Inspection will be done by BHEL/BHEL approved agency at all stages of galvanizing and prior to dispatch. (Standard Ref. for galvanizing: IS 2629 –latest version).

Basic cleaning, degreasing, caustic cleaning, pickling, rinsing, fluxing etc. prior to galvanizing and post galvanizing process as per standard are to be done by galvanizing vendor. Unloading of jobs and loading of galvanized jobs are also in galvanizing vendor’s scope of work.

Galvanizing of hand rails tubes of various diameters and other structural like flats angles beams and channels required in running meters and numbers as UoM as per the drawings, quality work instructions from BHEL. Basic cleaning, degreasing, caustic cleaning, pickling, rinsing, fluxing etc. prior to galvanizing and post galvanizing process as per standard are to be done by galvanizing vendor. Galvanizing vendor’s scope of work also includes collection of raw material from BHEL Ranipet (Single/Multiple), material sizing (if required), galvanizing, stencilling and handing over to BHEL Ranipet Shipping. Blasting charges (if applicable) will be paid extra and all other terms shall be as per OS Main Rate contract. Galvanizing to be done to 600 gsm / 610 gsm depending upon the QP/CQR/Project requirements.
