Dismantling and Removal of W3 Evaporater in SA Plant:Work Involves: Make required arrangements for the work including scaffolidng,arranging necessary tools,safety harness etc. Any insulation on the W3 shall be removed. Dia of W3 is 4.35m and overall height is 6.5m. Plate thickness for shell and roof is 12mm and bottom plate is 19mm thick. MOC is MS with encassing of additional MS/SS in shell areas. Castable/brick lining is approx.90m3. After getting process clearance cut and remove the inlet and outlet ducts as per site instructions. Cut open the W3 roof and all dummies/nozzles etc.The bellow and duct valve shall be cut without damage and be moved to earmarked area for preservation. The steam coil inside the W3 shall be cut and removed in sections. The complete castables and the brick lining shall be chipped and removed. The chipped castables and bricks shall be taken out loaded and transported to the designated areas as per instructions from site engineer. All power tools required for chipping of castables and brick linings shall be arranged by the contractor. Arranging scaffolding for the entire work shall also be in contractor\"s scope. After removal of coils and castables, the complete shell and bottom plate shall be cut in sections and removed from site. The site and foundation shall be cleared from all cut steel and castables/brick liningto the satisfaction of engineer in charge. All steel scrap shall be weighed and trasported to the scrap yard. MS/SS scrap shall be weighed separetely and to be unloaded at the scrap yard. Other scrap viz. castables, bricks, insulation etc. shall be loaded and disposed at the earmaked areas. Any temporary structural dismantling/providing additionalsupports if required shall be done at no additional cost which shall be reinstated to original condition after the work. Arranging all vehicles, back hoe loaders, cranes, power tools, trailers etc. for dismantling, loading and unloading of scrap materials shall be in this scope of contract.
