(3) The agencyshall take every precaution against damageto thenearby structures while dismantling the tower etc.Any damage shall be sole responsiblity of the agency. | 6 | A)Erection of tower includingsorting, assembling, lifting, fittingand fixing up all tower members in position true to the alignment includingassembling /hoisting /fixingof ladder, workingplatform,waveguide rack, lightening arrestor pipe stand etc. at required level all complete as per the manufacturers drawing and as per the direction of Engineer-in-chrage.The item includes enlarging holes, starightening of twisted or bend tower members of any type etc and all other connected works for the above operation (if and as required) all complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-chrage.(This operation is only for labour chargesfor erection of tower).B) Painting of tower including all accessories etc. complete with superior quality, weather resistant high glow syntheticenamel paint ( two or more coats) in international orange and white shade and ofapproved brand & manufacture in equal alternate layers to give an even shade as per aviation requirements over base coat of zinc chromate yellow primer all complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-chrage. (Agency shall arrange all the materials, labour, T& P etc required for the operation.) |

| 9 | Supplyingatsite thetower members fornew tower or deficienttower members fortower on account of any shortage/ unserviceable material found on dismantling of tower or otherwise. The material required for tower (excluding nuts, bolts & washers) and its ladder, working platform, wave guide rack (vertical), antena fixtures, pipe stand for lightening arrestors, templates, base plates etc as required shall be provided in required sectional size and length including drilling holes for bolts etc. all exactly as per and in conformity with the approved drawings of S.E.R.C. and as per the directions of Engineer-in-chrge. NOTES: 1. All tower material to be hot dip galvanised. The tower material, fabrication & galvanizing shall be as per the relevant IS code as well as SERC recommendations. 2. This itemDOESNOT INCLUDEfor supplyof nuts, bolts & washers as well aserection, priming& painting of the tower which shall be measured and paid under the separate item. 3. Measurement:Weight of the all the material supplied(weight ofeachpiecein exact length as required as per drawing). 4. The rate includes all material,their carriage, all type of taxes etc. as well as labour and T & Pnecessary for straightening, cutting, filing,drilling etc.,and hotdipped galvanisingto all steel members. |
| 10 | Supplying at siteHTgalvanisedsteelNuts, Bolts & washers for tower in required sizeand design conforming to the structural drawingof the tower. The rate includes necessary threading etc and payment shall be made for the actual weight of the material supplied at site. |
| 11 | Steel work welded in built up sections / framed work usingstructuralsteeletc. including cutting,hoisting, fixinginposition as requiredfor FeederSupportCable Runway horizontally from tower to building, vertically on the wall of building and from building to inside equipment room including fixing in position with suitable supporting / fixing arrangements at the tower end, building and floor using connecting plates and rivetting / bolting or embadding in walls / floors etc complete as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-chrage and including providing and appying two or more coat of approved high gloss synthetic enamel paint over and above approved steel primer all complete. NOTES: 1. The item is including supply of materials, fabrication,erection,priming& painting all complete. 2. The rate includes all material, their carriage, all type of taxes etc. as well as labour and T & P necessary for straightening, cutting, welding, filing, drillingetc. all complete for above all the operations. 3. Measurement: Weight of all the material supplied (weight of eachpiece in exact length as required as per drawing) including weight of the nuts /bolts & washers shall be measured for payment. |
| 12 | Providingandlaying ring earthing by running G.I.flat of size 50 x 6 mm allround at 1 m away from the tower base in ground at a depth of 1 to 1.50 metre from ground level in a trench of size300 mm wide. All tower legs shall be connected to ring earth by 50 x 6 mm GI flats with necessary accessories etc.The GI strip should have curved bending at all conrners.All connections are to be maid with led strip and 2 nos of bolts.Each leg of tower shall be separately connected with ring earth by GI strip 50x6 mm in suitable manner as per direction of Engineer-in-chagre.Trench is to be filled with good earth after providing sand, saw dust, chrcoal and salt at different layers upto specified depth including measurement of earth resistance by earth megger etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.The value of earth resistance should be less than 2 ohms and nothing extra shall be paid for getting the earth resistance less than 2 Ohms.NOTES: 1. While laying the GI strips,they should not not be bentsharplyatrightanglesbut should be laid in smooth curves of about 1 m radius. 2. Therateincludesall thematerialsand labour required forall the above including lead sheet, water proof tape etc.3. Measurement: Only the net length of GI strip shall be measured for payment. Nothing extra shall be paid for overlapping length etc. |
| 13 | Providing and fixing 50 x 3 mm G.I. flat of approved quality for making connection of lightening arrestor from the tower top to the ring /pit earthwith necessary clamps, fixtures etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 14 | Supplying, installing, testing & commissioning of LED\"s (light emitting diodes) lamp of VIJAY,BINAY or Avids or Litten or equivalentapproved on circular drum covered with glass and supporting arrangement etc with inbuilt day night sensor complete. The aviation light shall be of low intensity type of approved make which can work at AC supply of 200-300 walts, PVC duble insulated 2 core x 1.5 Sqmm coper armoured power cable of ISI mark of approved brand and manufacturer including providing and fixing switch borad with MCB etc at power supply points in exchange building or any other point as per direction of Engineer-in-chrage.NOTE: 1) Therate includes for allthematerials, labour andT & P etc. required for all the works as mentioned above. 2) When 2 lamps are to be provided at the same height, they shall be provided at diagonally opposite legs.Similarly when lamps are to be provided at more than one height,they are to be provided at different legs. |

| 16 | Providing and fixing display board of size 600 x 450 mm made of 3.0 mm thick aluminium composite panel of approved brand and shape with aluminium sheet on both side laminated to thermoplastic core including lettering indicating the necessary data as supplied by the department in approved colour and shape and letter size made out of Vinyle material. The display board should be fixed at 5.00 m height from stem top and fixed with necessary brackets / clamps / supporting angles etc. The rate shall include all material and labour required for fabrication, painting, lettering/fixing and its arrangement etc all complete as per direction of Engineer in charge.. |
