Tender For Carrying Out Civil Works Including Excavation, Pcc, Rcc, Plinth Beam & Subsequent Backfilling Works In Connection With Construction Of Balance Of Plant (Bop) Buildings & Structures Of Kknpp-5&6.”.(Npcil) Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project General clearance of site, removal of shrubs / uprooting of vegetations, trees, bushes etc. removal of rubbish and disposing at places up to 3km lead including making temporary access etc. complete Earth work excavation in all types of soil to the required grade, level and slope for all depths and lifts as per the drawings and specifications either manually or using mechanical equipments, removal of roots and vegetation, cleaning the loose materials, segregating the useful / serviceable material and carting of excavated material up to a lead of 3km, leveling etc. complete as per drawing and specification. Note: 1.The cost of dewatering required for the excavation shall be paid under relevant item. 2.The lead for the disposal of earth is the shortest distance from the centre of layout of the structure for which excavation is to be carried out to centre of dump yard. 3.Any over excavation beyond the limits specified in the drawing /specification shall be filled with concrete of the same grade of leveling course and no payment shall be made on this account for the excess excavation and leveling course
