Miscellaneous Instrumentation Works In Np And Sulphate Plants Of Fert Uc 2025-26 => Limited; 1 Miscellaneous Instrumentation works in NP & Sulphate plants of Fert-UC (2025-26) 2 Dismantling of control valves (End connection flange size up to 50 NB, rating up to 300#, having weight range 50 to 75 Kg, total end connection flange bolts 16 nos) from plant site, transporting them to FACT-UD workshop and or loading to truck, bringing back to site and or unloading from truck, fixing back in position leak proof at site with proper gaskets, bolts & nuts.All the materials required for the work will be supplied by FACT as free issue. 3 Dismantling of control valves(End connection flange size 80 NB, rating up to 300#, having weight range 75 to 100 Kg , total end connection flange bolts 16 nos) from plant site, transporting them to FACT-UD workshop and or loading to truck, bringing back to site and or unloading from truck, fixing back in position leak proof at site with proper gaskets, bolts & nuts.All the materials required for the work will be supplied by FACT as free issue. 4 Dismantling of control valves (End connection flange size 100 NB, rating up to 600#, having weight range 125 to 250 Kg , total end connection flange bolts 16 nos) from plant site, transporting them to FACT-UD workshop and or loading to truck, bringing back to site and or unloading from truck, fixing back in position leak proof at site with proper gaskets, bolts & nuts.All the materials required for the work will be supplied by FACT as free issue. 5 Dismantling of Flush mounting type Level transmitters / Magnetic Flow Heads / Mass flow meters (End connection flange size 80NB / 100NB, rating up to 300#, having weight range 30 to 50 Kg , total end connection flange bolts 16 nos) from plant site, transporting them to Instrumentation lab, bringing back to site and fixing back in position leak proof at site with proper gaskets, bolts & nuts.All the materials required for the work will be supplied by FACT as free issue. 6 Fabrication and mounting of Instrument stanchions. Work includes fabrication of instrument stanchion (size 50 NB, SCH80 MS pipe,length 130cm) with base plate of size 225mm X225mm X 6mm.and fixing the stanchion on the floor at site using anchor bolts.Note: All the materials will be issued by FACT except welding and cutting machine. 7 Fabrication and mounting of fieldInstrument supports. Work includes fabrication of instrument supports (size 50 NB, SCH80 MS pipe,Lshape size 300X 200mm) and fixing the support on the I beam at plant site.Note: All thematerials will be issued by FACT except welding and cutting machine. 8 Laying of Signal/Power Cables- 1pair/ 1triadThe scope of work includes transportation of cables to site, Installation of OFC/signal/ power cables-1pair/ 1triad with wires of size upto 1.5 SQMM by laying on new/existing cable tray/ rack / clamping on the wall / structure / routing under cavity floor /through GI pipe/trenches. The cables are to be laid from field instrument to Junction Boxes / Control Room and from RIO rooms to main control room. Dressing of cables in racks shall be by using Aluminium/ SS cable tie at intervals of minimum 1 meter on horizontal runs and 60 cm on vertical runs. Clamping of cables on structure shall be by welding and fixing suitable cleats. The scope of work includes making SS tags with cable numbers punched on it [as per cable schedule] and fixing them on both ends of the cables before entering the instruments, junction boxes or control room. The tags may be tied to the cable using SS wires.Supply and installation of all other items other than cables, required for the completion of work like Aluminium strips, SS tags, SS wires, SS screw etc are included in the scope of bidder. 9 Laying of Signal/Power Cables - 12 pair/ 20 pair/12Triad: Cables and identification tags will be supplied by FACT free of cost. The scope of work includes transportation of cables to site, Installation of signal/ power cables-20 pair / 12 pair / 12Triad with wires of size upto 2.5 SQMM by laying on new/existing cable tray/ rack / clamping on the wall / structure / routing through GI pipe/trenches. The cables are to be laid from junction boxes to Junction Boxes / DCS Control Room. Dressing of cables in racks shall be by using Aluminium strips of size 20x5mm at intervals of minimum 1 meter on horizontal runs and 30 cm on vertical runs. Clamping of cables on structure shall be by welding and fixing suitable cleats. The scope of work includes fixing identification tags on either end of the cables before entering the instruments, junction boxes or control room. The tags may be tied to the cable using SS wires. The supply of SS304 fasteners and SS wire as detailed above is included in this item. 10 Removal of unused armoured cables of size 12 / 20 pair, 12 triad from different plant areas in UC and transportation of the same to scrap yard or a place identified by the Engineer in charge. 11 Fixing of Perforated Aluminium cable trays of size 2.5x50x25mm or Aluminium angles of size 50x50x6mm on to new/ existing MS supports in Fert-UC plants. The work shall include supply of SS304 nuts, bolts, washers required for the fixing of cable trays. Painting of MS supports with one coat of epoxy-based primer and two coats of epoxy paint of dark grey colour. Breaking of walls, sunshade etc to carry out the work comes under the scope of the contractor. Perforated Aluminium cable trays and MS structurals will be supplied by FACT free of cost. 12 Fixing of Perforated Aluminium cable trays of size 2.5x200x20mm or 2.5x300x30mm on to new/ existing MS supports in Fert-UC plants. The work shall include supply of SS304 nuts, bolts, washers required for the fixing of cable trays. Painting of MS supports with one coat of epoxy-based primer and two coats of epoxy paint of dark grey colour. Breaking of walls, sunshade etc to carry out the work comes under the scope of the contractor. Perforated Aluminium cable trays and MS structurals will be supplied by FACT free of cost. 13 Fabrication and laying of transmitter impulse lines. Work includes Fabrication of transmitter impulse lines using SS tubes (Size 12mm ODX1.5mm thick) and fittings. Laying of these impulse lines from instrument 1st isolation valve to flow/pressure transmitter and connecting both ends using proper tube fittings . If required, impulse lines to be fixed by using proper clamps, nuts and bolts.Note: All the materials will be issued by FACT at free of cost. 14 Laying of 6 mm/8mm SS pneumatic tubing from air headers to the air filter regulators or I/P Converters of control valves located at the plant site. Workincludes laying of SSpneumatic tubing of sizes 6mm/8mm OD with standard SS fittings from air headder to control valve accesseries. One end shall be connected at air header tapping and the other end shall be connected at the air filter regulator/ I/P end. Sharp bends shalll be avoided and proper support shall be given using clamps for the pneumatic tubing. All the materials will be issued by FACT. 15 Supply of skilled Instrument craftsmen for attending instrumentation revamping works, tagging works, cable glanding, Calibration assistance, aux.control room relatedUp keeping , instr.repair assistance etc on 8 hour Shift basis, as directed by Engineer-in- charge. They shall be ITI/ITC Instrumentation certificate holders withexperience in similar jobs/Apprenticeship in FACT . 16 Supply of unskilled workers for attending instrumentation miscellaneous works such as cleaning of local panels, bagging machines, flow meters,control valves, level meters, supporting instrument technicians, house keepingetc and instrument installations in general, transportation of materials etc. on 8 hour shift basis, as directed by Engineer in Charge. 17 Installation of Junction Boxes of size 350x420x150mm (approx) on newly fabricated MS Supports with GRP type CANOPY. The work shall include the fabrication of MS supports with necessary holes drilled for mounting the JBs & CANOPY and fixing it to the available structures by welding/using fastners (SS 304 bolt, nut and washers)/ anchor bolts). The Junction box & Canopy shall be mounted to the newly fabricated MS supports by using SS304 nut, bolt and washers of size M6 X 40. All the materials except SS304 Bolts, nuts & washers will be issued by FACT, free of cost (Required SS Bolts, nuts & washer to be supplied by the contractor). The canopy size (WxDxH) is approximately 550x450x325mm.
