Tender For Furnishing students area in the Soil Science Department at KFRI Peechi.-- 1 Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead. For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm 2 Providing and laying autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry with 100 mm thick AAC blocks in super structure above floor 2 level up to floorV level in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand). The rate includes providing and placing in position 2 Nos 6 mm dia M.S. bars at every third course of masonry work. 3 Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4(1 cement : 4 coarse sand), including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete. Size of Tile 600 x 600 mm. 4 Grouting the joints of flooring tiles having joints of 3 mm width, using epoxy grout mix 0.70 kg of organic coated filler of desired shade (0.10 kg of hardener and 0.20 kg of resin per kg). including filling /grouting and finishing complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Size of Tile 600x600 mm 5 Providing and fixing Thomson Multi wood board or equivalent make paneling 18 mm thick, to frame, backing or studding with screws etc. complete ( Frames, backing or studding to be paid separately) as per the direction of site Engineer-in-charge. 6 Providing and fixing Thomson Multi wood board or equivalent make paneling 12 mm thick, to frame, backing or studding with screws etc. complete ( Frames, backing or studding to be paid separately) as per the direction of site Engineer-in-charge. 7 Providing and fixing coloured mica board of 1 mm thick, to frame, backing or studding with suitable adhesives etc. complete ( Frames, backing or studding to be paid separately) as per the direction of site Engineer-in-charge. 8 Providing and fixing powder coated telescopic drawer channels with necessary screws etc. complete as per directions of Engineer -in-charge. 9 Providing and fixing bright finished brass handles with screws etc. complete: 75 mm 10 Providing and fixing magnetic catcher of approved quality in cupboard/ward robe shutters, including fixing with necessary screws etc. complete. Double strip (horizontal type) 11 Providing and fixing special quality bright finished brass cupboard or ward robe locks with four levers of approved quality including necessary screws etc. complete. 40 mm 12 Providing and fixing autoclosing hinges of approved quality in cupboard/ward robe shutters, including fixing with necessary screws etc. complete. 13 Raking out joints in lime or cement mortar and preparing the surface for repointing or replastering, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge 14 Painting with silicon & acrylic emulsion based water thinnable sealer of approved brand and manufacture on wet or patchy portion of plastered surfaces: Two coats 15 Wall painting with plastic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade: One or more coats on old work
