Tender For Repair And Maintenance Of B/R Related Work Of Various Installation Under Age (I) Lansdowne; 1 Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness in roof coverings complete all as specified and directed. 2 S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coated GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour, having tensile strength of 550 Mpa, AZ-150 as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed. 3 S&F pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa, AZ-150 as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed. 4 Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and directed. 5 S&F rolled mild steel section for Roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc., conforming to Fe-410-W(Gde-E-250) quality-A complete all as specified and as directed.Note : The rates quoted allow for cutting to dead length where required, notching, drilling, fitting, riveting and/or welding or connecting with bolts and nuts (including rivets or bolts and nuts), providing and fitting angle cleats, fish plates, gusset plates etc., also for wedging, plumbing, truing up and fixing complete. 6 S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc with ends of bars shouldered and or riveted or forged into spikes, framed, barred iron door, ladders, fencing work etc. conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.Note: The unit rate quoted by contractor is deemed to be inclusive of cutting to dead lenth where required, notching, drilling, fitting, rivetting and/or welding or connecting with bolts and nuts (including rivets or bolt and nuts), providing and fiitings angle cleats, fish plates, gusset plate etc., also for welding plumbing, truing up and fixing complete. Note :- Old retreived serviceable stone under demolition item shall be used. 11 M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregates, as in kerb/ benching/ coping, bed plates for fixing of hold fast, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed. 12 Extra over stone walling for hammer dressing with maximum depression on face from straight edge held against the dressed surfacae not exceeding 40mm to face stone for Lime or sand stone and dressing of face beds and joints, as specified of random rubble walling, uncoursed or brought upto course complet all as specified and directed. 13 M&L for raised pointing in cement mortar (1:4) to random rubble masonary uncoursed or brought upto course complete all as specified and directed. 14 Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone wall surfaces including glazed tiles wherever exists including raking out joints, hacking for key and scrubbing down with water and removing unseviceable materials out side MoD land complete all as specified and as directed. 15 M&L for 15mm thick plastering on brick / concrete surface in CM (1:6) surface finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed. 16 M&L for 15mm thick plastering on brick / concrete surface in CM (1:4) surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. 17 M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces on wall and applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper over alkali resistance for primming to distemper for smooth finish of wall complete all as specified and directed. 18 M & L for applying Two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces. Note:- 1. The newly plastered surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacturer instruction before application of emulsion paint. The cost of all materials, T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii). The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacturer for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii). All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by deportment for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacturer.(iv). after carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building.(v).
