Bids Are Invited For Custom Bid For Services - 2000000 Catering Service  The food served by the CSP has to be prepared in clean, hygienic and safe conditions as per the menu provided by the Users Committee and healthy sanitary methods.  The food shall be cooked and served in clean utensils and no laxity shall be permitted in this regard. The utensils shall have to be maintained in sparkling clean condition all the time. They shall have to be sterilized each morning before serving of any items.  The CSP shall ensure that only freshly cooked hot food is served to the users and no stale food is recycled. Complaint, if any in this regard shall be dealt with severely.  Non-vegetarian food items should be cooked in a dedicated set-up and served through separate counter. Vegetarian food choices have to be considered mandatorily and should be included in the daily menu. Under any circumstances, there should not be any mingling of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items.  The CSP should ensure that the cooks and serving personnel wear apron and head gear while cooking and serving food. They should have clean and properly chipped nails.  The CSP shall ensure that the cooked and uncooked food is stored properly and no stale food is served. In case of any food poisoning, the contractor will be held solely responsible with liabilities for penalization and legal action.  After every meal all the plates, glasses spoons and other cutlery items are to be cleaned in soap solution and hot water, dried and kept ready for the next meal by the CSP. The CSP must use cleaning material of high quality.  Liability/responsibility in case of any accident-causing injury/ death to the Canteen workers or any of his staff shall solely be the liability of the CSP. The IACS Authority shall not be responsible by any means in such cases.  Tea/Coffee and other beverage items are to be served in disposable paper cups in the Cafeteria as well as in the Canteen. IACS being a plastic free campus, usage of plastic make items are strongly condemned.  The Cafeteria should have provision for biscuits and light snacks along with the beverage items in the form of an automated vending machine and manual serving mode in the operational area.  IACS will not provide any kind of residential facility to any worker or other concerned person. This will remain the sole responsibility of the CSP.  All the utensils, crockeries and other equipment required in the Canteen should be arranged by the CSP and replaced if missing/damaged in the Canteen. Non maintenance of above criteria shall result in penalty to be imposed on the Total Quantity :
