Tender For Acp And Polycarbonate Repair And Replacement At C-Dac Juhu; 1 Supply, erection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems for carrying out sheet removal/installation /repair works at height. Scaffolding shall be structurally stable, safe, and allow unobstructed access to working areas. Includes all safety measures such as toe boards, guard rails, ladder access, and debris netting where required. All scaffolding shall comply with IS 3696 and relevant safety codes 2 Removing of old polycarbonate sheet at all lead lifts. New Polycarbonate sheets shall be UV-protected, high-impact-resistant translucent panels suitable for external applications such as roofing and canopy systems. These sheets must be manufactured by reputed brands as mentioned below and comply with international quality standards, including ISO 9001 certification. The polycarbonate panels shall be of 10 mm thickness and translucent in appearance, with a vertical standing stem or interlocking rib at both ends of each panel to ensure structural rigidity and weather-tight installation. The sheets shall be fixed over a pre-installed aluminum or GI structural framework. Proper installation shall include the use of EPDM gaskets, neoprene washers, or polycarbonate profiles for sealing and cushioning. Fixing shall be done using stainless steel screws with protective caps or aluminum pressure plates to ensure corrosion resistance and secure fastening. Adequate provision shall be made for thermal expansion in all directions during installation to prevent warping or damage over time. All joints shall be sealed with compatible neutral cure silicon sealant to ensure water-tightness and long-term durability. All labor, materials, lead, and lift required for the complete supply and installation of the polycarbonate sheets shall be included in the scope of work. Only high-quality sheets from approved brands such as Lexan (SABIC), Tuflite, Makrolon (Covestro), Danpalon, Polycarbonate India, Lotus, GE, Polygal, or PC Lite shall be used, or other equivalent brands as approved by the client. 3 Removal of existing ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel) sheets from the designated locations, as per requirement of client This includes the careful dismantling and safe disposal of old material in accordance with standard procedures. Following this, new ACP sheets matching with existing color of minimum 4 mm thickness, comprising a 3 mm LDPE thermoplastic core sandwiched between two 0.5 mm aluminum skins (alloy designation 310S), will be provided and fixed. The surface of these panels will have a Lumiflon-based fluorocarbon coating minimum 25 microns PVDF coating should be there. on the top side and a service coating on the reverse side, conforming to ECCA/AAMA specifications and the mechanical properties outlined in detailed technical standards. The panels shall be of approved exterior-grade brands such as SS Bond, Shera Bond, Alucobond, Alstrong, Eurobond, or their approved equivalents, and may include a combination of solid and metallic colors. The ACP sheets will be mounted on a supporting framework consisting of 50 mm x 25 mm aluminum tubes with a thickness of 2 mm, spaced at 600 mm centre-to-centre. The installation will involve the use of high-quality silicon sealant and Abro tape for effective weatherproof sealing. Fixing will be completed using GI brackets, stainless steel bolts, nuts, spring washers, and cap nuts, with all accessories being corrosion-resistant. The brackets and supports will be designed to withstand wind pressures of up to 150 kg/sqm in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. The entire framework will be constructed using anodized aluminum members to ensure durability and corrosion resistance. All work includes the supply of labor, materials, tools, equipment, and any necessary scaffolding. The panels will be aligned properly, fixed securely, and sealed to ensure an aesthetically pleasing and weatherproof finish. The installation will be executed as per site conditions and approved architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring quality and compliance with all relevant specifications. 4 Repairing and Gap filling in ACP and poly carbonate sheet using silicon, abro tape complete & proper fixing using bolt, screws, with labor and material
