Dismantling the cracked gunited surface having thickness 60mm (avg.) from the steel sheet piles in docks using manual chisel/mechanical chisel, hammer etc. The first layer can be removed by mechanical means using standard power driven percussion type chisel and the subsequent gunited surface has to be carefully dismantled by manual chisel, hammer etc and utmost care should be taken to protect the steel sheet pile surface from any kind of damage during dismantling. The guniting including weld mesh has to be completely removed and the base metal of the steel sheet piles must be exposed and the demolished wastes shall be disposed at the designated dumping yard as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. CSL approved staging shall be erected for working at heights of 2m above the dock floor level. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of labour charges, hire charges of tools, machineries & other incidentals etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Staging required for the work will be paid separately).

Painting the exposed surface of the steel sheet piles after surface preparation bycopper slag blasting to SA 2.5 finish followed by painting with two coats of epoxy paint over a coat of epoxy primer excluding cost of copper slag, primer, paint & thinner etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Copper slag, Paint & primer issued by CSL free of cost).

Supplying and erection of CSL approved staging using materials issued by CSL upto a height of 5m from ground level. The rate shall include labour fortransporting staging materials from stackyard, erecting at site and its removal after completion of work and stacking in position at the place pointed out by the Engineer in Charge.
