Notes: i) For double/ multi stage shuttering design calculations and details / drawings for scaffolding shall be submitted by the contractor well in advance. Prior written approval of form work shall be obtained from Engineer in Charge, before commencement of work. ii) Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment and stop boards for construction joints will not be measured for payment. iii)The rate of formwork shall include all type of structural / RCC elements and all geometric shapes including circular and any other curved surfaces at all level and floors including single/multiple staging etc. |
| 8 | Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying, delivering, storing of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position at all locations & levels and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge. | 10 | Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched Design Mix reinforced Cement Concrete of grade M-30 in foundation, plinth and at all floors & levels and locations conforming to I.S. 456-2000 and 13920 latest edition, using 20mm. maximum size downgraded stone aggregate and minimum cement content of 350 Kg/Cum including machine mixing, conveying, placing in position, mechanical consolidation, finishing, curing etc. all complete as per specifications and drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge, for the following. Notes: a) All RCC works shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. b) The water tank work shall be as per IS3370-2009 latest edition c)The rates for RCC works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and form work unless otherwise mentioned. c) All coarse aggregate to be 20mm maximum size and uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned. d) For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall include the following without any extra cost to the Dept. i) Spacers to maintain clear cover for reinforcement. ii) Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, fan hooks, other pipe specials etc.supplied by/ through the Department. iii)Cut out in slabs, construction joints etc. e)Test for concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000 and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor |

| 16 | Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment of the agency approved by department, including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, terraces etc mixing with water proofing compound as per IS : 2645:2003, with average thickness of 115mm and minimum thickness at drain point as 65 mm. Following works are included in above item. a) Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm. of cement admixed with proprietary water proofing compound over the RCC slab including cleaning the surface before treatment. b) Laying cement concrete using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 100 mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement: 5coarse sand) admixed with proprietary waterproofing compound over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement: 5 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300mm height including rounding of junctions of wall sand slabs. c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with proprietary water proofing compound. d) Finishing the surfaces with 20 mm thick joint less cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300mm square 3mm deep. e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer in Charge. |
