| 1 | Providing Supervisor cum Reception services : Providing Reception & other services like booking of guest house rooms, maintenance of records, handling of billing process of GH rooms, attending the needs of the guests etc. To attend the general administrative duties in the reception office and any other work related to Guest house as directed by EIC/BARC authorities. Note: (1) This service shall be provided as per the instrcution of theEIC/BARC authorities(2) Person having experience in carrying out such jobs.(3) The person deployed for the job should be effluent in speaking and writing in Hindi, English & Kannada.(4) Mode of measurement: Measurement will be Operation basis. One Operation means engaging oneskilled person for 8 hours. |
| 2 | Providing cooks : Providing Semi skilled and experienced cook, the person deployed should be well versed in cooking all varieties, cuisines and having experiances in working at such guest house/catering facilities at Central/state/ semi autonomous organizations.Note: (1) This service shall be provided as per the instrcution of theEIC/BARC authorities. (2) Job shall be carried out by semi skilled, qualified cooks with minimum experience of 1 years and abovein guest house/catering facilities of Central/state/ semi autonomous organizations.(3) Mode of measurement: Measurement will be Operation basis. One Operation means engaging one semi skilled cook for 8 hours. |
| 3 | Providing Assitant (for serving, assisting cook/room boys) : Providing unskilled, experienced waiters (for serving, assisting cook)/room boys helpingcooks, for serving in the dining areas, carrying out other works specified by EIC/receptionist. Note: (1) This service shall be provided as per the instrcution of theEIC/BARC authorities (2) The person deployed for the job should be effluent in speaking in Hindi, English & Kannada. (3) Mode of measurement: Measurement will be Operation basis. One Operation means engaging one unskilled person for 8 hours. |
| 4 | Sweeping, cleaning & removing all dust & dirt on all floors of office rooms/cabins/bed rooms/corridors/toilets/staircase/ cleaning of drains, gardens, paving areas, areas inside/adjacent to compound wall etc. Collecting the swept materials and dumping/disposing as per the city corporation/existing by laws. The work shall be carried out as directed by the engineer-in charge/supervisor. (NOTE: Before sweeping all waste paper baskets are to be emptied and the waste collected should be dumped/disposed as per the city corporation/existing bylaws.)Dusting/Making of the Bed, pillows (Daily); Removing and making of the beds with washed bed sheets/blankets (as directed by EIC); Replacing curtains for windows (as directed by EIC)Moping the floors & toilets block (once daily) with phenyled water at all corridors/staircase, hall, rooms, cabins, all common areas first with phenyled water and second with plain water including cleaning & washing glazed tile dado, urinal pans & IWC & EWC, washbasins, mirrors with suitable cleaning powder/cleaning agent & scrubbed with appropriate brush etc. & refilling/ replacing of toiletries in all locations. (NOTE: Glazed surfaces should first be applied with thin paste of cleaning powder/agent and rubbed uniformly with cotton waste/plastic soft/sponge for complete cleaning in locations) Removing cobweb from the staircase, corridors, common areas, canopies, RCC grills of service shafts, passages, cabins, rooms, toilets area etc. and Cleaning & dusting off window glass panes, ventilators/louver glass, aluminium double shutters, aluminium fixed panels, etc. dusting with soft dry duster carefully and staircase hand rails, notice board glass panes, service shafts of toilets in all locations twice in a month. Cleaning of kitchen/canteen utensils.Removing all types of chokes carefully from the washbasins, urinals, toilets and bathrooms as and when required by choke remover/rodding or other suitable means wherever found necessary including thoroughly removing the dirt, laying in and around the area in all locations. and disposing off it as directed by the Engineer-in-charge/Supervisor. Any other work related to Guest house as directed by EIC/BARC authorities.Note: The cost toiletries shall be paid under respective items. |

| 55 | Notes: (1) The work has to be executed as per the technical specifications. The descriptions of the items mentioned above is to be read in conjunction with the Specifications. Only deploying the Minimum labours/Personnel specified doesn’t comply with the requirement of contract; the contractor has to ensure that cosmetic maintenance of the facility is completed daily. Payment will be based on completion of all the works as per specification. (2) Detailed description of facilities and works to be carried out are mentioned in Annexure-I.Work has to be carried out in general shift/Shift specified by EIC/BARC authorities . (3) The deployed personnel should always be well groomed & presentable. They should be wearing their uniforms (as mentioned in the Annexure-III)& Identity cards all the times during their shift hours (4) The deployed personnel shall not be allowed to stay in the premises after their duty hours/ no accommodation shall be provided to them in the premises. (5)The contractor shall ensure that at all times the persons appointed by him to serve in the premises are physically fit and free from any disease, injury or illness; contagious (or) otherwise, in order to ensure that a healthy, hygienic and clean services are maintained. (6) If the department is not satisfied with the service or conduct of any of the workers/ employees of the contractor for any reason, whatsoever, the contractor shall have to remove such employees from the premises immediately once inform to him. (7) The Department shall have right to impose penalty (as per Annexure-II) commensurate with the fault and the penalty amount if any, shall be recovered from the bill. (8) If the Contractor engages less than total number of labours required for that calendar month, the amount shall be recovered as per Annexure-II.(9) If the contractor engages labours on non-working days as per the instructions of Engineer-in-Charge, in case of any emergency that extra labour count will be paid on prorate basis under respective items without any extra claims.(10) The contractor shall ensure the payment of minimum wages, the financial offers shall comply with the minimum wages. If the quoted cost is less than the minimum wages cost the offer will be summarily rejected. |
