| 4 | M&L for providing additional reinforcement by welding or by any established methods to increase the strength of RCC as directed by Engr-in Charge. Note:- Making and filling of holes for anchoring rods will be measured and paid separately. |
| 5 | Drilling 12mm dia holes up to a depth of 75mm maximum and fixing 8mm dia L shaped anchor rods as shear connectors at every 300mm c/c on the surfaces of the columns/beams or any other structural member as the case may be. Clean the same using water and make sure that there are no fine particles present in the hole. Fill the drilled and cleaned holes to a minimum depth of 2/3rd of the hole with the Lokfix E75 of Fosrock or equivalent. Make sure that the resin has reached till the end of the hole. At this stage push the shear connector gently in to the hole and finish the excess resin which comes out of the hole and allow the shear connectors not to be disturbed for minimum 20 minutes complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | Providing and applying one coat of structural grade epoxy coat by brush of approved make . Mixing of two components will be as directed by manufacturer and all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Make suure that it should be applied not more than 5 hours before application of micro concrete/polymer mortar etc complete all as specified and directed. | 7 | M&L for form work for Providing Micro Concrete jacketing to columns and beams including arrangementsfor pouring of mix into form work prepared for the patches of column/beams including scaffolding upto height of 15 Mtr complete all as specified and directed..Note:- (a) The work shall be carried out in patches approx 2sqm each as required at site. (b) Surface area measurement shall be taken for payment after finishing of the work. |
| 8 | M&L for Micro Concrete jacketing to columns and beams using polymer modified cement premixed quartz sand aggregate of Renderoc RG of Fosrock or equivalent mixed with controlled water powder ratio of 0.16 . An approved concrete mixer or a slow speed heavy duty drilling machine fitted with mixing paddle shall be used and continuous pouring is recommended. Remove the formwork after 24 hours in the case of columns and after a period of 72 hours in the case of slab and beam and check for any surface defects and if so apply the polymer modified mortar complete all as specified and directed.Note:- Measurement shall be taken for a dry weight of material used at site. Separate Register shall be maintained for consumption of material and signed by contractor, JE civ & Engr-in-Charge. |
