Insulation of hot water piping should be done with Elastometric insulation of following thickness/ density. The above ground pipes runniing through the rooms, wards/ coridoors boiler house etc shall be wraped with two layers of polyethylene and chicken mess and covered with Aluminium cladding of 26 SWG. The underground pipes shall be shall be insulated with Elastometric insulation along wth Chicken mesh and tar felt. |
