(Damage/broken portion only) |
| 2 | Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. |

| 4 | Supplying at site galvanised steel tower materials, [MISSING / UNAVAILABLE MEMBERS ONLY] with average mass of zinc coating of 610 gm/Sqm (approximately 85 micron), members may be consisting of either angles, flats, base plates, gusset plates, ladders, connecting plates, climbing ladders, bolts & nuts, washers fabricated as specially instructed and as per approved drawings and specifications for erection of equivelenttower. The galvanising shall be as per IS: 4759. The structural steel for tower shall confirm to IS: 2062 and fabrication shall be as per IS: 4757. The structural steel section shall be procured from the main producers like SAIL, RINL, TISCO. In case, structural steel sections from secondary producers are permitted, the same shall be restricted only from secondary producers of repute such as PARAS, SRMB, BABA or having valid BIS certification and POWER GRID approved conforming to all relevent IS specifications and as approved by the Engineer-in Charge. (The rate includes for all operations as above including carriage of all galvanised steel materials from source of procurement to the site of work). Note:- 1 All steel materials shall be made from M.S. high density structural members like angles, flats, round/ square bars, tees, channels, gusset plates, joints, rivets, G.I. Pipes, bolts & nuts, washers etc. Nothing extra shall be payable for special fabrication, erection and fixing of the above steel built up section in position at any height of the tower or any building by bolts and nuts or by site weldingNote:- 2 Payment shall be made on the basis of weight of black (non-galvanising) section only and nothing extra shall be paid on account of variation in weight due to galvanising]. |
| 5 | Labour for hoisting, fixing and erection of 40 M high tower as per departmental drawing and design with all its necessary components viz. climbing ladder, platform with railing and fixing with bolts nuts and spring washer, necessary welding etc. wherever required complete in all respect as per the direction of E-in-C. [The rate shall include the cost of all operations involved in hoisting and errection of tower including hire and labour charges of all tools, plants and mechinaries, insurance premium of labour etc. and nathing shall be payable extra]. |
| 6 | Drilling, punching and enlarging holes of required diameter of M.S. structural members (any thickness) by machine driling and grinding including mending good and fishing complete as per the site requirement and direction of E-in-C. |
| 7 | Painting two or more coats with hi gloss synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and colour (white and orange) over one coat of ETCH primer ( BISON WASH PRIMER OR APPROVED EQUVALENT ) and second coat of BISON HB ZINC phosphate primer ( or Zinc cromate primer) or approved equivalent of approved brand as per recommendation of international Civil Aviation rules in 40 M galvanised structural steel tower. [Rate shall include painting of tower , platform, antenna mount, ladder, vertical tray, horizontal tray, post etc]. |

| 20 | Transportation of dismantled tower materials (weighing approximately 5.0 Metric Ton) by mechanical transport i/c loading,unloading & head carriage (if required) to the departmental store orsite.(a) For a distance upto 100 km. |
