The item includes complete Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Digital Axle Counters. Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Digital Axle Counter, includes installation of track device (double rail contact) including digging of trench, track crossing , laying of Double walled antirodent corrugated pipe from track device to EJB / Track side Electronics and cable terminations. Fixing of deflector plates. (Double walled antirodent corrugated pipe made up of High Density Polyethylene of required diameter and all other accessories as per site requirement to be supplied by the firm), this also includes supply of HDPE pipes for laying of transmitter and receiver cables for rail contacts to location box, provision of puff seal in HDPE pipe with contractors own material. Installation of EJB / Track side Electronics inside the track side housing (This housing will be supplied and installed on foundation by the contractor with his own material, if housing is done in apparatus cases, then apparatus case shall be supplied and erected along with casting of foundation, as a part of installation for each detection point) including supply of wires and other accessories. This includes painting and writing on detection points and EJB housing/apparatus case. The installation shall be done as per extant practice in WCR, as instructed by Railway Engineer/Engineer in charge. Note: Digital Axle Counter, Single section type will be installed, wired, tested and commissioned by OEMs Engineer as per guidelines issued by RDSO. The Pre- Commissioning checklist issue by RDSO for Digital Axle Counter, will be prepared by OEMs Engineer and signed jointly with Railways Site Engineer before commissioning of Digital Axle Counter, OEM will submit site installation certificate mentioning that Digital Axle Counter, has been installed wired, tested and commissioned by approved vendor of RDSO i.e. by OEM.
