bids are invited for custom bid for services annual maintenance service - desktops, laptops and peripherals annual maintenance contract for networking devices (version 2) 1. the vendor to provide onsite comprehensive annual maintenance of daqls, rtps, and iipt systems at dipac inclusive of cost of spares but limited to hardware and software up to os level only. list of items placed as appendix. 2 any tools, test equipments and fixtures etc required for maintenance shall be provided by the vendor. 3. during the period of contact the firm shall maintain 98% serviceability of all the systems covered under amc. all expenses directly/indirectly for repair shall have to be borne by the firm. 5. 10% of critical spares like hard disks, ram, graphics card, keyboard, mouse etc to be positioned at dipac 6. during the amc period, vendor to forecast and ensure sufficient spares are stocked to avoid end of life situation. 7 during the amc period, resident engineer (re) should be made available at dipac. the re should have good knowledge on linux, networking and computer hardware systems. the period of contract will be effective from date of appointment of re with required skill sets. 8. the resident engineer to be available at dipac during normal working hours of dipac on all days excluding saturday sunday and holidays. however occasionally the re would be required to work on holiday due operational requirements. incase onsite re is to availa leave, a suitable replacement should be appointed by the firm 9. during the amc period, firms re or service engineer of its asp shall attend to the reported fault/defect withinsix hours of logging of complaints and the defect is required to be rectified with in one day. in case the fault is of major nature, necessitating procurement of spares or expertise of original equipment supplier/higher formation of the firm, approval for extension of repair time in writing shall be obtained by the firm from dipac, failure of which would lead to inclusion of lapse period in system down time. 10. during the period of contract, the firm shall through its own personnel or through its authorized service provider (asp) shall attend to all breakdowns of systems covered under amc, rectify the faults there of and replace components of the equipments/systems with serviceable components. such replacement shall be of free of cost on exchange basis. however, no damaged storage media of any sort total quantity :
