tender for grass cutting around runway,sand filling and miscellaneous works in airfield area at ramnad under ge tirunelveli (tender id:2025_mes_732441_1); 1 cutting of grass and bushes upto10cm above ground level or user defined level by grass cutting machine (jungle jim) attached with tractor and scrapping with spades including removal of rubbish to a distance exceeding 1000 m outside the md land complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge.note: (a) grass cutting (six times or as per user requirement) to be carried out around the airfield operational area all as directed by engineer-in-charge. (b) each cutting area shall be measured separately.(c) rate quoted for the item is for each cutting. (d) for each cutting one jungle jim with tractor including fuel and operator shall be deployed along with 02 laborers for helping jungle jim operator, sweeping movement area and collection/disposal of grasses. (e) the bushes and shrubs shall be cut and uprootedmanually or by locally available machine with operator. (f) the quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of all said work and nothing extra is admissible on this account. (g) all works to be executed inside technical area. the site for the work will be available in piece meal and also may be in flying days. no claim for non availability of site in every working days willbe entertained. contractor shall quote his rates considering the above bottlenecks. (h) the vintage of the jungle jim shall not be more than 2 years from the date of acceptance of tender. the contractor shall submit the documentary evidence like purchase voucher to ascertain the vintage of the jungle jim before the commencement of grass cutting work. (j) if the jungle jim gets breakdown during the period of grass cutting the same shall be rectified in one day. during the non operational period of jungle jim rs.8000/- per day will be recovered from the contractor. 2 cutting of grass and bushes upto ground level or user defined level, uprooting of shrub roots by deploying four nos of hand held grass cutting machine petrol operated in the air field area not accessible by jungle jim and during the non operational period of jungle jim. note: (a) four nos of hand held grass cutting machine with fuel along with four nos of operator shall be deployed during working days. (b) deduction will be made for non deployment of machine with operator vide relevant item. 3 material and labour in repairs razor blade galvanisedbarbed concertina coil of 1050 mm diameter made out of 2.59 mm thick galvanised wire having weight of each coil @ 15.2 kg ± 5% of coil, stretched to a length of 10 to 12m to achieve 950 mm dia as in fencing to steel posts and to another coil/ms ribs including fixing with special galvanised fasteners such as j clips, c clips, u clips all as specified and as directed by engineer-in-charge. 4 material and labour in repairs reinforced punched barb tape, with short barbed profile made out of gi reinforced core steel wire 2.5 mm dia and 0.5 mm cold clenched strip barbs around the core wire including 12 gauge spring steel gi wire having minimum tensile strength of 1650 kg/sqmm including fixing to concertina coil/steel posts/frames complete all as specified and as directed. 5 dismantling wrought iron, or mild steel or cast iron work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as directed. 6 s & f mild steel angle iron fencing posts, struts and flat iron for fixing fencing and similar work conforming to fe-290 gde e- 165 including cutting tops to shape as directed, bent to shape, drilling holes, notching, hooking for wire etc. complete all directed. 7 material and labour for preparation new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of 1st grade quality over and including one coatof red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified anddirected. 8 material and labour for preparation old or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed. 9 providing jcb for levelling of existing ground and uprooting of tree roots in airfield area complete all as specified and as directed. note: i) register containing details of date and time of operation of the jcb shall be maintained. unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive for providing jcb, operation of helper, fuel etc and nothing extra shall be payable on this account. note: any damage to the underground electric/communication/water supply pipe line shall be made good by the contractor and nothing extra shall be payable on this account. 10 material and labourploughing the old sand filling in soft ground arrester (sga) to a depth of 300mm, including clearing of vegetation and refilling spill out sand to the sga surface complete all as specified and as directed. 11 material and laboursand filling under floors or in foundation etc complete all as specified and as directed.
