supply of self adhesive masking tape 25mm width x 30 meters length backed by special grade of crepe paper& coatedself adhesive masking tape 25mm width x 30 meters length backed by special grade of crepe paper& coated,self adhesive masking tape 25mm width x 30 meters length backed by special grade of crepe paper& coated with r ubber thermoset adhesive. 1. the thickness of the crepe paper tape should be 0.145 %b1 10% mm 2. itshall peel off easily from t he roll and not tear while doing so and at the same time, it shall be capable of being cut-off easily to the required length. 3. the ta pe should have sharp and straight edges throughout the length of the tape. 4. it shall hold the 80 gsm kraft masking paper of 700 mm width in vertical position over the coach till it is removed from the surface. 5. as per the requirement, one tape will be pasted over the bare metal (steel or stainless steel or aluminium). the masking paper will be held by fixing it with tape over the previous tape pasted on the bare metal. hence adhesion property of the tape over bare metal, tape to tape and paper to tape shall be good such that it is able to hold the paper during spray painting operations. 6. during application of painting, it shall not allow the paint t o penetrate through it to the substrate. 7. while removing the tape after drying, the tape shall not peel off the paint or leave any st ain over the painted surface 8. should hold the masking paper in place while paint application inside the painting booth where auto mated spray painting operations are carried out using high pressure spray painting equipments. note:1) the product shelf life sho uld be 12 months from the date of manufacture special condition 2) eight numbers shall be supplied as sample along with the offer for ascertaining its suitability. the performance requirement shall be tested at shop floor using these eight numbers of tapes.
