replacement of various machinery and equipment parts of 2 nos. liquid rotor starter unit no. 10 and 11 in order to operate 450 hp slip ring type 6.6 kv ht motor and other allied works at lift irrigation station lis lakhanpur-replacement of various machinery and equipment parts of 2 nos. liquid rotor starter (unit no. 10 & 11) in order to operate 450 hp slip ring type 6.6 kv ht motor and other allied works at lift irrigation station (lis) lakhanpurby way of disconnecting all the incoming connections of liquid rotor starter of unit no.(10 & 11) and removing top cover after draining the liquid electrolyte solution of water and sodium carbonate (na2co3)/sodium hydroxide (naoh). extracting damaged/burnt fixed and moving electrodes of lrs by cutting rusted/overheated nuts and bolts. cleaning the inside of electrolyte tank with emery paper to remove corrosion and painting from inside by applying two coats of superior enamel. providing and fitting the spares like new fixed and moving electrodes at their respective places by using new nuts and bolts and applying the zinc paint/spray of superior quality onik electrodes. job also includes filling the tank with simple solution of sodium carbonate (na2co3)/sodium hydroxide (naoh) and water in suitable ratio. applying grease to different components of the driving mechanism such as gear and pinion, sprocket and chain., rollers, etc., and then dismantling shorting contactor. job includes providing and fitting new spares of 03 nos. new bus bar fabricated out of electrolyte grade copper. job includes cleaning of cable box and control box with crc spray and applying inhibiting grease to the terminalto prevent moisture and corrosion.(02 nos job)replacing contactor mnx 400 by providing and fitting of new spare contactkit along with coil. job also includes providing and fitting of new phase reversal relay 1 no., forward contactor mnx-18-01 no., electronic timer 1 no., overloading relay 01 no., limit switches 02 no. indicators 02 no., auxiliary contactor 01 no. and fuses 02 nos(02 nos job).providing and fitting of aluminium thimbles 1000 square mm single core cable both sides i.e., at unit and motor side. job includes crimpling aluminium thimbles to the cable end by using crimping tool (02 nos job).assembling of already removed parts and get back to its original position including top cover of lrs. tightening of all the nuts and bolts to ensure no connection is left lose. servicing of contact tips by rubbing/cleaning the surface with cotton wool. removing moisture content on contact by applying acetone or carbon tetrachloride with dry cloth. complete job includes cost of materials, installation/fitting charges, charges for hiring tool and tackles required for execution of work, transportation charges and miscellaneous charges etc(02 nos job). 2 p/fitting of new 2 nos. temperature indicator (wti and oti) with control system in place of damaged. connection of all the control system from buchholz relay and winding of transformer to ht panel no. 1 to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the transformer with copper control cable 8-core 1.00 sq. mm 15 m length approximately with other fittings as per site requirement of any is standard.
