tender for repair/replacement of charpoy gi pipe (from newar into plywood) for otm and married accn under aor of ge (south) ambala cantt.; 1 charpoy gi pipe with ply top (fd-220)taking out unserviceable long rail from charpoy gi pipe and supply and fixing new long rail 32 mm bore medium grade isi marked complete all as specified and directed.(note : - long rail will be dumped with in 07 days commencement of work alongwith purchase vouchers). 2 taking out unserviceable short rail from charpoy gi pipe and fixing short rail retireved out of unserviceable long rail as ser item no 1.00 above matching with the existing shape and size complete all as specified and directed. 3 taking out unserviceable leg from charpoy gi pipe and fixing leg retireved out of unserviceable short rail as ser item no 2.00 above. bottom of legs shall be plugged welded with 5 mm thick ms plate matching with the existing shape and size complete all as specified and directed. 4 taking out unserviceable gi 3 way elbow from charpoy gi pipe and supply and fixing new elbow 32 mm bore isi marked matching with the existing shape and size complete all as specified and directed. 5 taking out unserviceable gi check nut 10 mm thick 32 mm bore from charpoy gi pipe and supply and fixing new check nut matching with the existing shape and size complete all as specified and directed. 6 material and labour for mild steel flat iron 900 mm long of size 40 mm x 5 mm, welded to long rails horizontally (one end of each long rail) at equal distance including necessary cuttings, weldings, drilling holes where required for fixing plywood and painting to flat iron piece with two coats of black synthetic enameled paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer after preparation of new steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed. 7 taking out unserviceable nylon newar from charpoy gi pipe and supply & fixing new plywood 12mm thick of size 1990 x 910 mm commercial type exterior grade bwr, isi marked, as per is code 303. before fixing of plywood all steel surfaces should be cleaned, loose part of charpoy to be framed andframe to be tightened. making hole with bit drill machine 10 nos each charpoy (3 nos for each long rail & 2 nos for each short rail) with and including 10 nos not less than 8 mm dia nut, bolts and gi washer. painting of all stiffiner of gi charpoy with two coats of synthetic enamelled black paint over a coat of red oxide primer. after that plywood in all four corner of the ply duly round shape and smoothened by using sand paper etc should be fixedwith cap type nut & bolts as per sample held with bso (south) furniture yard complete all as specified and shown in drawing and as directed. note: - plywood will be dumped within 07 days commencement of work along with purchase voucher of authorised manufacturer as per approved sample by ge. 8 taking out unserviceable ply top from charpoy gi pipe,supply and fixing new plywood12mm thick of size 1990 x 910 mm commercial type exterior grade bwr, isi marked, as per is code 303. before fixing of plywood all steel surfaces should be cleaned, loose part of charpoy to be framed andframe to be tightened including ms plate 3 mm thick in round shape should be welded at the bottom of all legs also be welded. making 03 nos hole of equal size on both long rail and 02 nos holes of equal size on both short rail by drill machine. existing ms flat stiffners on both the long rails should be cleaned, replaced damage part of stiffeneror necessary welding if required at site to make complete fit charpoy. m&l for painting of ms stiffner with two coats of synthetic enamelled black paint over a coat of red oxide primer . after that plywwod in all four corners of the ply duly round shape and smoothened by using sand paper etc. should be fixed with cup type nut and bolts as per sample held with bso (south) furniture yard complete all as specified and directed. note: - plywood will be dumped within 07 days commencement of work along with purchase voucher of authorised manufacturer as per approved sample by ge. 9 note: - (i) amount of credit ofrs. 13,522.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in schedule of credit page no 19 of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.(ii)drawings are not attached with the tender documents and drawings with upto date revision as on end date of bid submission shall be applicable. these shall be referred from standard furniture drawings circulated by engineer-in-chief’s branch which are supposed to be available with the contractor; however contractor may see these drawings in the office of bso (south) ambala in any working day during the office working hours.
