outsourcing of electric supply installations at cantt under ge i kanpur , out sourcing of operation of mes 33 kv / 11 kv/ 6 . 6 kv electric supply installation at mrs round the clock by engaging electrician-03 nos per day i . e 01x 3 shift of 8 hours duration of duty 24 hours round the clock , including sundays and gazetted holidays for maintaining and smooth functioning the electric supply installation & its equipment including upkeep the electrical installation operational and in healthy condition and carrying out all daily , weekly and monthly preventive maintenance as required and specified . , all as per item no 1 . 00 above , but engaging helper-03 nos per day i . e 1 x 3 shift of 8 hours duration round the clock including sundays and gazetted holidays as helper to electricians employed under item no . 1 above in each of the three shifts . , notes for item nos 1 . 00 and 2 . 00 :- , the item no . 1 . 00 and 2 . 00 includes the following provisions and rate quoted shall be deemed to be included the same:- , contractor will arrange all t & p like ladder , tool kit , fuse wire , safety equipments , search light and including arrangement for shifting of manpower and ladder etc as and when required for attending the faults at site . , duty staff will ensure proper upkeep and operation of all installed machinery and other electrical fittings , fixtures and proper shift wise operating record of each plant in log sheets duly signed by shift duty operator , contractor and engineer in charge . , record in log sheets for instruments reading installed on panel for interval as directed by engineer-in charge and immediately on failure as well as resume of electric supply . , daily cleaning of equipments and floors including sweeping removing cobweb , removal of grass , shrubs , bushes inside/ yard area . , one mobile phone for operating staff will be provided by the contractor at power house to keep liaison/ communication with concerned je/ engineer in charge . , the electrician shall be qualified with iti or equivalent to iti certificate holder in relevant trade and should have sufficient practical experience . , the operating personnel should be in neat uniform and with shoes . , in case of worker/ workers employed found absent on duty , the contractor shall be liable to pay penalty at double the prevailing minimum wages as fixed by the central govt . /state govt whichever is higher . , no additional recovery except as mentioned at para 3 . 18 above shall be made for absentee of workmen from the rate quoted in schedule a/boq . , incase of major break down , manning staff shall intimate through telephone or in person to concerned je e/m engineer in charge immediately as possible and such break down record shall be maintained . shift per day i . e . 1st shift 06:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs and 2nd shift 14 . 00 hrs to 22 . 00 hrs including sunday and gazzetted holidays incliding upkeep the electrical installation operational and in
